Rating: Summary: Informative and entertaining Review: I was looking to take my river running/creeking to another level and this video did not disappoint. Corran lays out for us mere mortals, the kind of information that would take most a lifetime spent running whitewater to pick up. The section on cross grain boat handling skills alone was worth the price of the video and has improved my kayaking substantially (fewer painful pitons on hidden rocks in the current). The video was entertaining and if I had a complaint it would be that there is almost too much information. It's definitely a DVD you have to watch a couple of times to fully appreciate. For the price, it could arguably be the best investment I've made recently for my kayaking. (that and my Doc's ear plugs)
Rating: Summary: Must have DVD Review: Legend of the Falls is a must have DVD for the intermidate and advanced paddler. If you ever wanted to get start in creek boating, or improve your skills, this is the video to have. Corran does a great job of explaining complex problems, and very clear in his instruction. I can not say enough good things about this video. Ken Driscoll www.kendriscoll.com
