Rating: Summary: VERY INFORMATIVE, YET STILL SOMEHOW LACKING. Review: The video is informative, which is good however thought that it would me a bit more erotic. I furthermore would have liked it more had it's cast been more racially diverse.
Rating: Summary: Better than expected Review: This is a good, how-to-do video and much more enjoyable than the The Art of Sensual Massage product by Inkeles, which we have also seen. It will help you without being overly technical like other massage films we have seen. My wife and I watched this together and it was very rewarding. We watched the DVD in our bedroom and used the remote to pause and rewind when a segment needed to be reviewed, or we just wanted to pause and take a little extra time with a particular part of the body. Given the Playboy title I was concerned and even a little embarrassed when we bought it, but this is not porno film or like the magazine. The techniques are shown however by man and woman couples and there is no doubt they are nude, and enjoying each other. Someone else had said the video quality was very good and I agree. Every chapter is romantically set in a soft, romantic mood. I wish they had a little more light in some of the segments. The audio explanation is very helpful, telling you exactly what to do while the music in the background is relaxing and appropriate. Unlike the Gordon Inkeles tape, the couples don't look like unbathed hippy throwbacks from the 70's. The couples on this DVD were obviously chosen for their looks. There is a scene in a bathtub that's fun to watch but we'll probably never apply because the facilities needed are too large. I bet very few homes in Portland have bathtubs like this! Both my wife and I feel this product is a good balance between a how-to-do sensual massage tape geared to heterosexual couples and something visually romantic. The larger emphasis being on the massage part. Even though the actors are nude and attractive, the how-to-do focus of the DVD kept our attention on each other, not the tape. I bet a lot more of these would be sold if the Playboy brand weren't on the label. Seeing that rabbit on the cover probably means many bought this DVD expecting something else while many more like my wife and I avoided this product because of the producers reputation. There is nothing gross or embarrassing on the tape. If this were shown in a theater, it would be rated R, not X. It's a very good DVD for the price.

Rating: Summary: Know what you are buying. Review: This video is actually surprisingly instructional. Not being too familiar with either playboy videos or massage, my wife and I weren't sure what to expect. We found some of the massage vignettes quite helpful. My wife in particular likes the one on shiatsu massage. Based on my difficulty following along with all the massage moves, I am guessing that the (mostly beautiful) models in this video are actually experienced masseusses (sp?). On the erotic side, this video doesn't quite cut it. As my wife so succinctly put it "its just a bunch of naked people giving massages". I would note, however, that the shiatsu hasn't failed yet....
Rating: Summary: Much better than ¿The Art of Sensual Massage¿ by Gordon Inke Review: This video is an actually highly instructive as well as sensual. It is more than just visually erotic but also honestly educational without being overly boring and technical. This truly is a how-to-do sensual massage video, showing both technique and mechanics on the movements, a visual tutorial of the basics. Focus is on the: arms, legs, back, head, feet, stomach and chest rather than genitalia, but it's done in a way to maximize the sensual or erotic aspect of the effort. The heterosexual couples demonstrating the six vignettes, about eight minutes each, are completely nude and very attractive; no towels, leotards covering anything. This is a great couples video to play while learning and doing with your mate. The techniques shown are performed by both male-on-female and female-on-male exchanges. The pace is slow enough to keep-up in parallel with your partner while watching but yet not dragging into unnecessary technical detail. The exchanges take place in a number of romantic settings and locations include, floor, bed and a sexy in-bath example. Camera work is good and the images, music and narration professionally done. The DVD is narrated by a female explaining all. The DVD is about 60 min long. If massage is want you are trying to learn, this is far superior to the Penthouse version of similar title. This is less technical than "The Art of Sensual Massage" by Gordon Inkeles, but much more visually appealing. I got this DVD as a gift for my hubby to spark things up. We I laid out several beach towels on the living room floor, then, started watching this the first time through in our nightclothes. About 15 minutes into the show we stopped and restarted the DVD, taking on the exact same wardrobe as the actors on screen and following their lead. If you are looking for porn, this is not for you. There is no hard-core sex, masturbation or direct genital massage in the film. If you are looking for a sexy but not pornographic, sensual and systematic heterosexual demonstration of erotic massage demonstrated by totally nude couples in their late twenties showing by example in romantic vignettes with an honest emphasis on the massage whose intent is erotic in nature, then this is a good choice.
