Review: I bought this video not knowing a lot about massage but I sure learned quickly. It's clear and easy to understand. While it gets technical in nature, it keeps the explanation simple enough for anyone to follow along. I hope they come out with more in this series.

Summary: For Beginner's Only!
Review: I was very disappointed with the DVD. I purchased it relying on the previous customer reviews. This is extremely rudimentary! If you have any sort of formal training - even as little as 100 hrs - this will seem like a Kindergarden class. For those of you who have attended school, please do not waste your money on this video/dvd. The technique shown is very basic Swedish (and very little of that!) with a couple of Shiatsu/acupressure points. The medical terminology and anatomy sections cover about what I learned my first two days in massage school. There is a short section about aromatherapy which gives so little information I wondered why it was even included.
For Professionals? Maybe - but only if you've never had any training or if you haven't read any books on the subject.

Summary: A Professional Who Appreciates A Professional Approach!
Review: I'm a professional who, due to my own illness has had to step back out of the business for a few years. This DVD brought me up to speed to where I can comfortably step back into the business with confidence. The instructor showed me several new techniques and strokes and reviewed the anatomy which I had forgotten. I am able to watch this in the comfort of my home and have given several massages since receiving and watching it. I'm back up to speed - thanks to you. It's a great DVD and I highly recommend it to both professionals and those just wanting to know how to give good, healthful massages - which are good for EVERYONE!!!

Summary: Dr Phil says Tell It Like It Is....
Review: This is a great DVD and I think that I benefited immensely . The instructor in the DVD obviously has the experience of years of teaching and has prepared many students to take state certifications tests. He helped "refresh" me with anatomy along with muscle and bone structure. As a certified massage therapist, I found this DVD useful as I've watched it over and over and feel that I'm a better massage therapist because of it. Even if you're not a professional, you'll benefit and be able to give a darn good massage by knowing "the points" where clients carry their stress and know how to eliminate that stress. Medical science shows us that there are multiple benefits to massage therapy. Everyone can and should benefit from this massage DVD.... no matter what your level of expertise. Thanks for this DVD. I highly recommend it!
