Rating: Summary: Excellent massage technique, poor DVD technically Review: This DVD is clearly a direct transfer from video - ie, there is no chapter division, so the only way to watch is from beginning to end. After two months of ownership, I've still never made it to the end! While my daughter and I enjoy the techniques presented on the DVD (they are better than the ones we learned in a hands-on baby massage class we took locally) I would have appreciated the ability to skip to information about massaging different parts of the body. The visual quality of the tape is amateurish: sometimes the camera isn't close enough to the masseur for you to see what he is doing. Furthermore, on my copy the sound suddenly gets louder and then softer and then louder again, hardly a recommendation when you and the baby are trying to relax. Hard to believe this one was made in 2003 - it could have been made in 1983.
Rating: Summary: A Must for Anyone With A Newborn or Toddler * * * * * Review: This is a must if you have a young child. The time my daughter and I spend during our massage time together is out of this world! She's the most precious thing in my life and this video has shown me how to make her respond most effectively to my touch. It's amazing how she knows when she's going to get her massage and she get's all smiley and giggly in anticipation. She really enjoys it and I love giving her so much pleasure.Thank you for this wonderful tape. I learned so much! I bought the VHS and am buying the DVD version for my expecting girlfriend!
