Firm Up Fast with Leslie Sansone is an effective program for beginning and intermediate participants alike. First-time resistance trainers will find an approachable format with these practical and basic exercises. More advanced students will get a solid workout here as well because each exercise can be intensified with the addition of hand weights. This 30-minute program is divided into three 10-minute segments that focus specifically on the upper, middle, and lower body. The biceps, triceps, and chest are trained within the first segment as body alignment receives some special attention. Abdominal and lower-back muscles are strengthened in the second segment, while leg and glute work in the last portion of this program train the quadriceps and outer thighs. Participants may want to warm-up on their own with a light walk to help the muscles increase their elasticity (this will help stave off injury) before beginning this workout.
