Rating: Summary: A good start for me Review: I am over 40 and not in very good shape. I don't like aerobics tapes where you jump around alot and feel like you are moving more on momentum than actually working any muscles. After using this tape I don't feel totally exhausted. I feel like I have more energy and that I am building muscle. Since the movements aren't that fast, I also feel like I won't hurt myself as I have in the past using other exercise tapes.
Rating: Summary: Don't let the title fool you! Review: I don't know who came up with the title, but it is so dumb it made me apprehensive to buy the product. Anyway, I am glad I bought the dvd because it is really good, an instant favorite. It uses heavy rhythmn & blues music and the moves and combinations are gorgeous. The teacher Rania is easy to understand and follow. There are two performances that are very different from each other and both really excellent. For me the performances are a big help in understanding what learning the basics can evolve into. I am happy with this product and have ordered the other ones by Rania.
Rating: Summary: I am officially hooked on Bellydancing! Review: I got this dvd as a gift and I love it. I feel more fluid and graceful in my dancing, I never moved my body like this before, having a ballet background which is totally different. Now I am undulating all the time. The only thing I questioned was the head-tossing movement in the bellydance combinations at the end, but I asked my trainer and he said that they are fine as long as you do them in a relaxed, loose way and not stiff or thrashing. The two performances were amazing; Rania is a brilliant dancer. Like I said, I am officially hooked.
Rating: Summary: Love Belly Dance but not This DVD Review: I really enjoy the traditional music and movements involved with belly dance--for the most part both are absent from this dvd. I felt that it was contrived and can't for the life of me see what people think is so good about Rania's dancing, she moves like a robot. I thought one of her background dancers was much more at ease and inspirational. This DVD is a waste of time and money. There are other much better bellydance videos and DVDs on the market. I recommend the series by Veena and Neena Bidasha instead.

Rating: Summary: Pleasantly surprised Review: I was looking for DVD's for aerobics and couldn't find many, so did a more general search. Bellydancing came-up again and again. I decided to give this one a try and loved it. I am 41 years old and not a regular exerciser. I just love this DVD and am starting to get hooked on bellydancing. The music hasn't gotten annoying, the way it often does on videos that are watched repeatedly. It's fun and a great way to get back in shape.
