Review: I'm one of Miranda's biggest fans: I started with her Back Pain Relief DVD, and now work as well with her Arms & Abs, Legs & Butt one and the Full Body Stretch. I'm so much more toned because of her, and my pain is so much relieved, plus my flexibility (an area many exercisers forget) is immensely better. Buy, buy, buy - but if it's your first Miranda programme, don't buy this one. Some of the stretches are very good, but the massive fault of this DVD is the use of double doors (with bars) as exercise equipment - have *you* got such a thing in your living room??? So okay, you do your best with your own door...but Miranda suddenly forgets to cue properly, so you have your back to her (in my room, there'd be no other way of doing it; how many of you can say different?), and she says, "I hope you're copying me." Um, how? I also felt this programme was rather made up as she went along; that might be unfair, but it simply did not have the confident, polished feel of the sets in the other DVDs I own. In addition, this one claims to be 30 mins but once you take out her talky intro, the exercises come in at about 20 mins, making this an expensive option in terms of stretches for your money! I guess I'll use this from time to time to make a change, but I can't see that it's more aggressive in arresting osteoporosis than, say, the Full Body Programme - quite the contrary.
