Rating: Summary: Cute, but what are her feet doing? Review: Although Dolphina breaks some of the moves down better than other DVDs I own, the camera work seems more about how cute she is, rather than designed to show how to perform a given move, i.e. close-ups of her face when she is doing an arm movement or fairly complicated hip/leg movement. You'll be OK with this if you already know some belly dancing. The workout is also interrupted for elaborate costume/scene changes. This set of DVDs is more about worshipping yourself as a goddess than working yourself out, which is actually nice - but don't buy this expecting a real 'workout' DVD.
Rating: Summary: Not too shabby Review: As workouts go, this barely raised my pulse. As dance goes, it was nothing challenging or new (but then, I've been dancing for over 12 years so there you go). However, I'll watch just about anyone perform, and Dolphina's performance wasn't the worst I've seen. If you've taken belly dance classes for a year or two you should be fine with this video - nice little review. My ever-present belly dance video tip: avoid Janine Rabbitt at all costs.
Rating: Summary: Good content Review: Dolphina again provides her viewers with a good workout and an opportunity to learn the basics of bellydance. This is a more advanced tape and not for the beginner. Beginners should first buy Dolphina's "Goddess Workout."
Rating: Summary: More Instructional than a Workout Review: I bought this Advanced Bellydance Goddess Workout after using Dolphina¡¯s Introduction to Bellydance which I enjoy tremendously and rated as 5 stars. I am a bit disappointed at this one. First of all, I don¡¯t understand why she didn¡¯t produce an intermediate level workout or slow down the pace in this ¡°advanced¡± one and name it intermediate? I am barely at intermediate level but I still can use this one but not benefit as much. Even though I am disappointed but I would still say it is a worthwhile purchase due to the rarity of this type of programs. You can hardly call it a workout because you probably would not burn 50 calories. Only one third of the program (hips, upper body, undulation,) have a thorough illustration and repetition. The chest circle and hip circle are hardly illustrated step by step. Repetition itself should be a great workout but somehow there are not enough here. The illustration for ¡°Figurate¡± in combination is somehow not clear either. You just have to follow. This combination part is mainly instructional. The hips, thighs and buns part gives some workout as I sweat at this point but it is very short. And then at the shimmy part, it all of sudden gets very difficult/advanced. The cool down is almost perfunctory. However, I still benefit from some of the movements, especially, the undulations of dolphin and camel moves which I couldn¡¯t get it from her first DVD. So I would still say it is a worthwhile purchase unlike some other programs out there that are just simply a waste. The background of this program is stark, barren and boring. A contrast to her first video which is colorful and richly cultured with Eastern style. This one might have some surreal Goddess effect but if paradise is this boring, barren and stark, I probably would not want to be there. The camera angles are much better than her last one though. The workout part is really short, only 30 minutes. An ideal length should be one hour with more repetition to make perfect and sweat. In my humble opinion, Dolphina may not be the best instructor on earth but she definitely is a very beautiful dancer. I am still looking forward to her new workout creations.
Rating: Summary: Dolphina... Review: I felt there was not enough warm up, and she didn't explain most of the steps clearly. I felt I got a decent workout, but she is a terrible choreographer in the last part of the tape. She showed some of the movements, but did not tell us the order in advance...difficult to follow. Needs to be more step by step.

Rating: Summary: FOR ADVANCED ONLY Review: I found the moves hard to follow and I took classes before. She shows the moves at a fast pace. Her technique is beautiful it makes you want to learn more so you can look as sexy as she does. I don't know if I'll buy the instructional dvd due to the bad reviews. it increased my heartrate a little so it's good for a low cardio workout.
Rating: Summary: The Goddess Workout with Dolphina-Advanced Bellydance Review: I found this dvd a simple instructional video-not an advanced cardio video. My heart rate did not even increase. I recommend The Bellydance With Nina and Mina. They know what a cardio workout is.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful and Challenging Review: I have to say that this is a great workout, although it's not for a beginner. Dolphina does not spend a lot of time explaining what to do because this is workout for people who are already familiar with bellydancing moves and dancing in general. If you are, then you will just flow with it. Contrary to other reviews that say the set is boring, I think the set is absolutely beautiful and relaxing and she is really inspiring so this workout is both visually and spiritually engaging. I read another review where it says you'll only burn 50 calories and that's not correct! This workout will make you break a sweat if you do the moves correctly. If you just throw your hips around and not put the correct emphasis on muscles like your upper and lower abdomen, hips, etc., then of course you will not even sweat, but that applies to all exercise in general. This workout will definitely challenge you and keep you centered while you practice active meditation. I loved this DVD and I will be purchasing the whole Dolphina series. I highly recommend this DVD for those who already dance and are already familiar with bellydancing moves.
Rating: Summary: Great workout! Review: I really like this video, her first one was slow and basic, this one will have your waist/hips on fire! If you want a fun workout with a bit of a challenge then this is the perfect one. The positives: Her voice is very soothing - she breaks down the movements - this workout will really tone/define your waist - It will keep you sweating - the instructor is very motivating - Her girl power is fun, it will put a smile on your face (if you are into the workout of course) - The movements will make you feel sensual - the instructor shows more basic bellydancing moves - nice music - the camera did a better job too, it focused on her entire body and not just her face (like in the first video of her workout series) - there's a nice choreography at the end based on all the workout movements she uses in the video, very challenging, but fun - A nice cool down section at the very end will leave you feeling very femenine and empowered. The negatives: The background scenery is the same throughout the whole video, not as pretty as her first video - sometimes she counted too fast and sometimes the movements were done too fast. If you want to trim the waist and tone your hips, this is a great workout, I highly recommended.
