Rating: Summary: Not what I expected! Review: After trying (and liking) her older tapes, the 2 Mile Walk was a big disapointment to me. Regardless of what the jacket says, I find the difficult patterns and dancy moves hard to follow, the people on the video are not the ones on the cover (they are all young females), and in general, had little to do with walking, I'll stick with her "40 Plus Workout". I wish there was a money back guarantee.
Rating: Summary: I'm losing weight and most all inches! Review: This 2 mile walk video by Sansone is the best! It works the entire body and she guides you through each excercise with such ease. You'll also like the bio's on each of her excercisers. I use it every other day and I am seeing results you can pump it up or modify the steps to fit your level of fittness. I use this video in conjunction with Sansones Firm up Fast video. Try it I think you'll be pleased... It works but remember it dosen't work if you don't pop the tape in and get busy with it. I'm having fun!
Rating: Summary: A great choice for the busy lifestyles we all have. Review: This is the best exercise video I have tried. I can't get outside to walk because of the icy weather so this is a great alternative. You will get a great workout in just a short time and it's never boring. You'll only need 30 minutes to walk the 2 miles and that includes warm-up and cool-down. Only have 15 minutes? Then do 1 mile! It's that easy and enjoyable. I'm sure I'll be purchasing her new one when Amazon gets it!
Rating: Summary: Basic, but fun, video Review: The moves in this video are very basic, but they add tone to every part of your body as you "walk." You can even add light weights to the routine to rev it up. Definitely a good video to have on hand.
Rating: Summary: wonderful exercise video Review: My daughter and I have been using Leslie Sansone' Walk off weight video with some success. When we saw this one in a local library we thought we would try it. It was terrific! The time passes so fast when you are using it. The moves are not difficult and change frequently. We liked the video so much my daughter convinced me to get a copy so we can use it more frequently.
Rating: Summary: 2-mile walk, time goes fast using this tape. Review: Leslie is the best walk aerobic tapes I have gotten. Not all the jumping and not knowing what your doing type tape. Easy to follow and for someone who doesn't like to exercise, this is the tape for you!
Rating: Summary: Great Workout Review: Leslie Sansone's "2 Mile Walk" is a great exercise video. The variety of steps makes this workout interesting and challenging, and you can change the pace to suit your personal needs. If you don't think you are working up enough of a sweat, just lift your legs higher and include the suggested arm motions throughout -- it works for me. I alternate using the "2 Mile Walk" video with the shorter workout on Leslie's "In-Home Walking" video, and I find her approach to be reasonable and her style to be positive and reassuring. I have used my NordicTrack for years, but I was really ready for a change in my exercise routine. Leslie's videos are best for me because of excellent cues, clear and timely instructions, step simplicity, and her very pleasant demeanor. I have wasted money on walk videos by other exercise gurus, but the "2 Mile Walk" video is not a waste of either time or money.
Rating: Summary: Great walking programme. Review: I purchased this and the Miracle Mile together. Both are good. The Miracle Mile is good for days when we are short of time and energy. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes. But the 2 Miles programme is one of Leslie's best videos. I have also tried many of her other videos, but I always seem to come back to this 2 mile video. It has a variety of moves which keep you going till you realise the 2 miles is over. It has a good pace and makes you sweat. The meter which tells us the time and distance covered is also helpful. I would also like to add that Leslie's walking programmes have kept me consistent with exercise. I would recommend this to anyone who may want to start some aerobic exercise. The steps are not as difficult as other aerobic programmes and are easy to follow. Also the programme is low impact for people who may not be able to do any high impact aerobics.
Rating: Summary: This Program WORKED for me! Review: A combination of eating healthy foods and doing this video helped me lose twenty-five pounds in a month and a half. This is exactly what I needed to keep me moving. This video is not for experienced marathon runners or people that want super high-impact workouts. the movements were not hard to get and they are not "dancy" like other aerobic video workouts.
I would wake up every morning and do this workout for 30 minutes every day. Doing these workouts helped me to sleep better, gave me more energy, and helped me to feel better about myself!! Thirty minutes a day is not a lot at all and I found myself doing these workouts whenever I was bored or had extra time on my hands. This video looks a little outdated and the music might be a little cheesy for some of the younger crowd, but it works and that is what really matters. I urge anyone that is concerned about their health or wants to lose weight to give this video a try.
You DON'T need to get the one mile walk first. The DVD allows for one to finish the first mile and skip to the cool down very easily. Try this!! THIS is a miracle weight loss program. It helped me realize that exercise and proper diet is the ONLY way to lose weight and stay healthy. I've moved on to other videos by Leslie, but I still use this video. It's great!
Rating: Summary: Quick, Easy, and Painless Review: This is one of the BEST exercise videos I've used. It's easy on the joints but works out the whole body with a friendly group. Leslie is motivating but not loud; just offers easy encouragement. The 30 minutes goes by quickly!
