Summary: Very relaxing, yet powerful results
Review: This is the first Yoga home video I purchased, and it remains one of my favorites. The instructor, Alan Finger, has the most soothing voice and gives such clear, concise instruction. I also like that he is not too "new-agey" in his language and focuses mostly on the straightforward physical benefits of this program, rather than the effects on your psyche. I appreciate how the 2 assistants demonstrate the poses for both beginner and more advanced viewers. The conditioning portion of the video is not particularly strenuous so if you are looking for a Power Yoga workout, this tape is not for you. This program is a light workout and an amazing tension release. I particularly love to do this video after a long, stressful day. Wash your face and brush your teeth before you start this video because if you're like me, you will fall asleep or close to it by the end of this wonderful video!

Summary: Best yoga video I have tried
Review: This is the most relaxing video of all the yoga tapes I own. I have most of the the Yoga zone videos. I am not flexible enough to do some of the poses in some of their other videos. Alan Finger's instruction is excellent and there are two instructors to show different modifications of the poses. This is a good tape for a beginner or intermediate.

Summary: A great relaxation video
Review: This video is great if you want to do Yoga but don't want a real intense work out. It is good if you would like a nice workout and a chance to unwind. This video really helps to relax after a stressful day. Al Finger does a great job in explaining the poses and how they help to relax you. As well there are two other Yogis to follow depending on your skill level. I would recommend this video for any one who is new to Yoga to help develop a appreaciation for the relaxation qualities that Yoga can bring.

Summary: A Sublime Experience!
Review: This video is terrific. Insurance companies should reimburse you for it, especially if you work a high-stress job. It strengthens the body while releasing tension and actually relieving pain. The relaxation at the end is probably the most unwinding and soothing experience I have ever had. Also teaches excellent stretches and lower-back releases for runners and anyone who plays high-impact sports.

Summary: Yoga Zone: Conditioning & Stress Relief
Review: This was my first yoga zone video. The instruction is very good. Alan Finger is soft spoken, encouraging, and thorough in his instruction. He emphasises that there is benefit at whatever level you may be at. I found this video to be great for me as a beginner. It has given me a love of yoga. I highly recommend it, especially if you are a beginner.

Summary: It works.
Review: This was my introduction to yoga. Though I'd much perfer to take regular classes, to insure I'm learning the poses absolutely correctly, this DVD is easy and CERTAINLY relaxes me. - I've even FALLEN ASLEEP during the end/last excersize a number of times because it has relaxed me so.

I'm not the most flexible person so some of the poses don't get done to their fullest, but that is ok. The instructer says so. :-) He has a pleasant voice and gently walks you through each pose. (There are also 2 women who perform the poses so you get a good visual of how).

If I had more self dicipline, I'd do the yoga work out on this DVD every night. I feel so much better when I do and the relaxed feeling not only helps me sleep at night, but carries over into the following day. I highly recommend this DVD and hope to check out others in this series.

Summary: conditioned and relaxed after all
Review: When I watched the video through, and the first times I actually used it, I thought it was boring. Alan finger talks a lot, theres a lot of time between poses and the setting is very low key (not al all hip, just a studio). So I only did it ocassionaly or used the final relaxation after using a tape like MTV yoga. But after a couple of months I started to see it's benefits and used it more and more. I use it when I want to work on my technique in the yoga poses, when I have a sore or stiff back or neck, or when I am too tired for strenious exercise. The final relaxtion is awesome and I feel very relaxed after completing the tape. When I want a powerful workout I use other tapes. But really, with this tape you are actually doing quite a lot, only at a slow pace (so it's certainly not cardio, but it does strengthen your body). It's also a really good tape for yoga beginners to learn the poses, connecting the breath to the movements § relax/ stretch every part of your body.

Summary: Actually releases stress
Review: Yoga Zone Conditioning & Stress Release delivers what it promises. By focusing on major stress points in the body such as the neck, shoulders, wrists, pelvic area, and back, this video is the answer to my hectic days. I actually look forward to doing these exercises at the end of a long day, because it helps me relax and unwind. I do not blame the previous reviewer for actually falling asleep at the end of the session - it's that effective. And I would have to credit Alan Finger for his soothing voice and encouraging manner of instructing yoga students. While he gives out the instructions, his two senior yoga instructors perform the poses, with one doing the modified postures for those who are less flexible. Two thumbs up for this video.
