Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: As someone who exercises to Leslie Sansone videos everyday, I found this new video, that includes a two mile walk, very disappointing. You are supposed to workout with this new stretchie band she wants you to buy that doesn't even come with the purchase of the video. I just want to walk, not deal with contraptions or extra things to purchase or do. If you don't mind the ridiculousness of the stretchie band or the additional price, then you will like this video, otherwise stick to the other express videos. The 4 mile one is my favorite; it is powerful, simple, easy and something you can do everyday and will keep you trim, flexible and with a nice healthy glow on your face. :)

I've lost 10 pounds adjusting my eating habits and exercising five days out of the week. I've noticed that my legs and upper back and arms have begun to respond to the toning exercises. This is a miracle for me. The best thing about it is it's do-able! I can't do aerobics--I'm too clumsy. But I've decided that I can do more exercise than I thought I could do. My next challenge will probably be pilates. But I won't abandon Leslie Sansone's tapes. By the way, Leslie is not irritating, she comes off as a genuine, nice person with no diva qualities. P.S. I'm sending a copy to my sister who has diabetes and is seriously overweight.

Rating: Summary: Hardly walking strong! Review: I expected a lot more toning from this dvd/vhs, based on the title and description of the video. Although Ms. Sansone promotes the benefits of resistance work with the "stretchie" and the "interval training," this amounted to little more than maybe 10-15 minutes of actual toning work out of 30 minutes in the video. Although the walking steps are done to a brisk soundtrack, I also find it difficult to believe the level of activity for the video amounts to a 2 mile walk. The pros - there are some worthwhile moves with the stretchie - some of the best are the lunge/squat moves. Once you learn these moves, you can easily repeat them on your own without using the tape if you want more resistance work. Also, its great that she still includes the warm up period and cool-down stretching. The cons - simply not enough toning. I feel I'm getting better results for my upperbody by using handweights. Also, the tape is more of a cardio/toning combination and it's too short on either end to really meet my personal cardio or toning goals per workout. I definitely have to augment this tape with other toning exercises or cardio time. Still, overall a pleasant enough experience and I probably enjoyed it more than her regular 2-mile "cardio" walk programs.

Rating: Summary: Good tape to add to your collection Review: I got this tape as part of the whole collection of her "Walk Away the Pounds Express", and am very pleased with it. It's a tape that you may not do every day, I just view it as a supplement to use on days when I want a little something different. The stretchie band may not come with this video on it's own, but I got it with the set. If you don't have it, you can just use resistance bands available in any sports store. I would imagine you could even just use plain old 2-3 pound hand weights as well. I can really feel it in my arms and shoulders when I use it, and she does incorporate squats and lunges into the routine too. You do do some of the walking in it too, it's not all toning and strength training. She even manages to make this count as a "2-mile walk" for the day! It's a good tape to use for those days when you feel like a little variety, VERY easy to follow and doesn't leave you feeling wiped out at the end. Good one for your Leslie Sansone collection.
Rating: Summary: walking with interval training Review: I have lost 79 pounds through diet and exercise with Leslie's videos. This video is a nice addition to the walking tapes. This is a firming tape that she uses the stretchie band in. You can use weights if you do not have it. This is a fast paced walk with interval training for toning your upper and lower body. I would recommend this tape in addition to Leslie's other tapes.

Rating: Summary: Good to get you started, and keeps you going! Review: This is one of the first videos by Leslie that I bought. Before trying her tapes I did not exercise at all. I like that the Walk Strong focuses on specific muscle groups and also pumps it up a bit with walking exercises. You will sweat a bit and you will feel muscles all through your body when you are done. I also like it because its a 30 minute tape and you get a complete workout. The people in the tape doing the exercises with you are very approachable, and are not models. They look like real people. Leslie is very bubbly and encouraging. This is a good tape if you are beginning because you can start off slow. Its also good if you are more advanced because you can shorten the resistance band to make it harder for you. I also did this video with small hand weights when I did not have a resistance band. The "Stretchie Band" is around 8 dollars on Leslie's website. I think shes wonderful and I'e been exercising 5 days a week now for 2 months. You will definitely see improvement in your body and will feel great after working out with Leslie. I give this 5 stars. I can't wait to do her workouts at the end of the day. I also recommend the 4 mile super challenge ( walk away the pounds series) because it is really challenging. Its an hour long work out and really makes you sweat and you get some good cardio in there.
