Rating: Summary: I love this video!!!! Review: This is a wonderful yoga video. The workout is perfectly challengaing and presented in such a wonderful way. I always feel great after doing this workout. I highly recomend this video.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Excellent! Review: This is an EXCELLENT excercise video. I do this video twice a week with a group of women at work during our lunch hour. We use a conference room with a VCR, and have been doing this for a few months now. Everyone in this group has high praise for this video. It is certainly challenging, but that is what keeps it fresh even after monthes of using the same tape.I tell our first timers to take it easy and rest when you need to. It is a good idea to take a yoga class with an instructor so that you can learn the proper form for these poses. But, even our beginners have high praise for this video.
Rating: Summary: my legs are on fire Review: this is an extremely good, fairly quick workout. focus is on the legs: first 15 minutes or so devoted to awkward chair and variations thereof. you will sweat. your legs will burn. the presentation is professional and not annoying. highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Here's What You Need to Know Review: This tape features a basic series of down dog, sun salutations, warrior one, warrior two, crescent, one triangle series, one warrior three pose, several extended angle poses, a few balancing poses (including half moon rising of which I liked the progression) and many, many, many awkward poses and chatarunga/up dog series. She throws in one crow, ends with a brief bridge pose, pigeon and a few stretches. I've been taking yoga classes for about two years so all of the poses were familiar to me, although I still can only do the beginner's version of many of them. What I did not really like is that the instructor does all the poses on one side, then the other. I prefer poses to alternate from right to left side. I also hate awkward pose, so if you do too, forget it. I am accustomed to doing many chatarunga/up dog series, but this tape had more than I'd ever done. I definitely worked up a sweat and could "feel it in my legs" when I was done. But I can't say this routine is one I'd want to do regularly. I like a little more variety.
Rating: Summary: Great - but not for beginners Review: This tape is a great follow up to the rest of Yoga Zone's series -- but be careful if you haven't practiced yoga before. Although the postures are explained well, there isn't a good warm-up or breathing instruction. Do your own before the tape!
Rating: Summary: A challenge for beginning and intermediate yoga fans Review: This video is, by far, my favorite of all the yoga tapes I own. I've always like Yoga Zone videos, and this is no exception. The workout, a tough power yoga workout, takes about an hour, and you'll be covered in sweat by the end! The instructor thoroughly explains each pose, and has two assistants, one that demonstrates the full pose, and one doing an easier, modified version. I've been doing yoga for quite awhile, but even beginners could handle this tape, with regular practice. It's really wonderful.
Rating: Summary: A real challange but good. Review: This video will leave you exhausted but in a great way. The video is a real challange and I would not recommend it to any on who is new to the practice. As well Instructor Lisa does a great job in explaining the poses, and the secquence. There is also two other Yogis in the video. One to follow if you are more advance and the other if you are on the beginner/interrmediate line. With any video I would really give this one five to eight tries before you put it away and forget about it. If you can get the hang of it, it will become one of your favorite videos.
Rating: Summary: Great tape for people who know the basic positions in yoga Review: This yoga tape is vigorous compared to most but for beginners i wouldn't recommend it. First try to attend a few yoga classes or get the Gaiam's "yoga conditioning for weightloss" DVD and learn the basic positions. Yoga is all about great form and concentrating on the breath, hence the stress release and and challenging workout at the same time. If you are a beginner this tape moves quickly with not as much instruction as it should have. There are a lot of very advanced exercises on this tape where good form would be hard to attain if you have never done yoga before or are just starting. I am at a intermediate level and was not out of breath from this video but was challenged with the balance exercises, defintely a great tape for a veteran.

Rating: Summary: 5 Stars but for No Breathing Warm Up Review: What a great work out! It's a true power yoga workout that just about anyone can do. You'll feel both that you got a good workout and that you accomplished something at the end by getting through such a demanding routine. Unfortunately, the instructor starts right in at the beginning without any breathing preparation whatsoever. Although I know that traditional power yoga classes start off similarly, at home it's important to have at least some preparation because without an instructor right there to oversee there's no chance to give individual breathing advice when needed. This is particularly important for beginner's that aren't aware of the importance and technique for proper breathing.
