Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT Well-Rounded Workout Review: I DETEST exercise, but was grossly overweight and had to do something. (I also have a bad back and knees) Sounds hopeless, right? Well, not after using Leslie's tapes! Her tapes are easy to follow, easy on the joints, and VERY effective. Between Weight Watchers and using Leslie Sansone's tapes - I have lost 65 pounds in 8 months and feel WONDERFUL! I highly recommend this DVD for everyone! I currently own 3 of Leslie's tapes, and just ordered two more. I am an avid believer and fan! If I can do it, so can YOU!
Rating: Summary: Excellent, easy to follow workout Review: I hadn't exercised on a regular basis for over 10 years when I decided I had to do something to change my body. I started by using this DVD set. I was looking for something that was easy to follow, but made me sweat. This DVD is perfect! I started with the 1 mile walk, which I did a few times without hand weights and then incorporated the weights. I then moved on to the 2 mile walk when I felt I was able to handle it. The best thing about these workouts are that they use basic moves--kicks, knee lifts, kick backs, side steps, and of course walking. I own some Denise Austin VHS tapes that I rarely use because following the moves is too complicated. I never have that problem with the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs.On days when I have 30 mins. to spend exercising, I do the 2 mile walk, but on days when I oversleep or am running late I just do the shorter 1 mile workout. Since I have been using these DVDs for the last 3 months, I have lost weight and feel much better about myself! If you hate exercising and think you can't handle something too difficult, just try the 1 mile workout--you will probably be surprised to find that it's easy to follow and you might even enjoy it! My only negative comment about the Walk Away the Pounds series is the ultra-peppy people that work out with Leslie Sansone. They can be pretty annoying.

Rating: Summary: Great for people with limited physical ability. Review: I have Fibromyalgia, and was looking for a low-impact exercise programme to follow that wouldn't require days to recover from. I've not really followed the 2-mile programme, but the 1-mile is short and relatively easy. There's not a ton of bouncing, unless you want to, and you can get as intense as you want. Also, those participating in the video demonstrate three different levels throughout, so you can follow which ever one is more comfortable. The set is also a great value, as you have two programmes for the cost of one.
Rating: Summary: Quick and Easy Way to Stay in Shape! Review: I have had other exercise videos, but this is the first one I've actually kept using. One of the best things about it is that the steps are easy, but effective. You can learn them quickly, and you can keep up with the movements. Leslie Sansone and the other people on the tapes seem like regular people, and aren't annoying. I find Leslie to be fairly encouraging. I actually enjoy the workouts. The one mile walk is great-- it takes only 18 minutes and you feel your heart rate rise. The 2 mile walk is even better, and still takes only 1/2 an hour. The weights are terrific, too. I feel better, and have lost weight!

Rating: Summary: A Workout for the Uncoordinated and Lazy!! Review: I recently checked this out at my local library, thinking it would be like all the other workout videos that I've tried since giving birth almost 2 years ago- too hard to follow, too complicated, too advanced, etc. But I still gave it a chance, because I figured, how hard can walking be? Living in New Orleans, I have two enemies- awesome food that's terrible for you, and a summer that lasts from April to October. And with an almost 2 yearold, I needed a workout that wouldn't give him the opportunity to crawl all over me- yoga was a disaster!!
Walk Away the Pounds is PERFECT! I can walk, and while I don't always match in sync with the people on the screen, I do feel that I'm getting a good workout! Plus, like others have said in reviews of other Leslie Sansone DVDs, she's so chatty and the people around her are REAL people, not other fitness instructors, so the workout goes by fast. I've tried other workouts that were for the uncoordinated, but I've never stuck with them like this one!! In addition, I feel refreshed and ready to tackle things when I get done, not tired and ready for a nap!!! This is definately a keeper!!
Rating: Summary: It doesn't get any easier!! Review: I recently purchased this DVD, on the recommendation of some chicks I met at a Weight Watchers meeting. Now, I absolutely DETEST exercise, but I recently lost 67 pounds and figured it was time I start doing something. Well, much to my surprise, this one is really easy and not boring at all! The first mile is over before you know it and you can set your own pace. I believe that I could have done this with no problem, even at my heaviest weight. I am also EXTREMELY uncoordinated-like Steve Martin trying to dance in The Jerk. I was able to pick this up with no problem. I am ready to move on to a tougher workout and will definitely be proceeding with the Leslie Sansone dvd collection.
Rating: Summary: GREAT for getting back into exercise Review: I was a 10K runner five years ago and then I just let myself go. I gainned almost 40 pounds and now get out of breath climbing the stairs at work.
Determined to get healthy again, I started walking at work (a mile a day) and ordered several exercise DVD's. Out of those, this one was the BEST for my current health level. It was easy to follow, not hard on any joints, and didn't have a lot of steps to learn. I was SHOCKED by how fast it got my heart-rate pumping and although I was drenched afterwards, I completed the first mile on my first day.
This is nothing like the 15 minute mile long walk around your block!!! It will give you a real full body workout.
Rating: Summary: Good moves to begin including exercise in your life BUT ... Review: if you get aggravated by participants talking back and forth about how good they feel and hollering out 'Yeah!', etc. while they exercise, this one'll drive you crazy.
