Rating: Summary: If you want to really learn yoga Patricia Walden is best. Review: This dvd, Yoga for beginners, with the complimentary Yoga for Flexibility program is fantastic. The beginner tape is slow which if you are learning is a total asset. Patricia Walden really teaches you and I have done many tapes but I can honestly say that this program and Patricia Walden is how I have really learned Yoga. Now, when I desire, I can practice yoga without any tape or dvd. I often practice outdoors, on a mountain top or beach. After you learn the poses with this program you can go on to the flexibility program and you will amaze yourself at how much more flexible you will become. The flexibility program is also an all time favorite of mine and produces amazing results. Watching Patricia Walden lengthen her spine is inspiring. This DVD is desert island material and in fact I purchased the dvd already owning both programs on VCR because I value them so much. And lastly, thank-you Patricia Walden for the life long gift you have given me. I mean this with upmost sincerity. Namaste, Yvette
Rating: Summary: Great DVD for beginners Review: This video is really great for beginners, Patricia really helps you to find your power house. She also teachs you to better understand what your body is going through with the different body technique. I am a beginner and compared to some of the other reviews I have not had any problems with the DVD as far as the commercials. I would definetly recommend this to anyone wanting to start yoga.
Rating: Summary: not the good for a beginner Review: While the tape did go through variations of each yoga pose thoroughly, her stretches and touching her hands to the floor are nearly impossible for a beginner to mimic.
