Summary: Don't waste your mone
Review: Paula is a terrible instructor. Moves are hard to follow and not counted out very well. Workout is impossible to do on carpet. You are much better off just dancing for an hour to your favorite music! Wish I didn't waste my money.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not for couch potatoes!
Review: This video is demanding and fun! It requires about 3-4 tries before you can master the steps and really get a great workout. Once you know the routine the video gets the results you are looking for and stays challenging! I highly recommend this for people looking to maximize their exercise time.

Summary: If you love dance workouts, get this one!
Review: I only have 3 fitness videos in my permanent collection, and this is one of them. She divides the routine into sections, and each section is performed slowly, then repeated as the tempo increases. It's very similar to learning a new routine in dance class. I have grown tired of the same choreography repeated over and over in a typical fitness video. If you crave more challenging choreography, this is your tape (there's also a decent ab workout included).

Summary: Poor instruction
Review: The camera never stays still long enough for you to actually see the dancers move. I won't use it again - wish I never bough it

Summary: Warning for those who exercise on carpeting
Review: Paula's a great dancer, but when this video was choreographed she forgot that many of us work out on carpeting. This video incorporates many twisting and turning moves which are probably great on a wood or tile floor, but doing them on carpeting could injure your knees. Be careful!

Summary: If you give up easily don't try this tape
Review: This tape is great. The first time you try it, you will think you have no rthytm and probably feel like a failure. But, by the fourth time you will be in line and think you should of been a dancer. This tape is guaranteed to keep you interested and never gets boring. It not only gets you in shape but also has side affects of building confidence and a great attitude.

Summary: Paula is incredible!
Review: Paula's first workout tape was excellent. Her upbeat music and beautiful face keeps you moving. I have never taken dance lessons, and I only had to watch the video twice to get the steps down. They are a lot of fun, and are also useful at dances and in clubs. It's about time someone put out an aerobic workout that is fun to do and actually does something for your body. I'm really glad Paula has added this facet to her fabulous line of work. Thanks Paula!

Summary: To FAST... little instruction
Review: This tape was not good at all, for a beginner espeacially. I tried it twice and gave up, and I have taken dance lessons a lot when I was younger. Very little instruction was involved, the lighting was bad, and all the people in the tape were distracting. I would say this tape is good for someone that has MUCH experience in fast paced dance. I give it two thumbs down.

Summary: Fitness made fun.
Review: If you like Denise Austine, chances are you'll like Paula Abdul, too. Denise is my other fav. to work out to, when I want a more traditional workout. Paula is great fun, and it doesn't feel like exercising. You do break into a good sweat.

Summary: Easier to follow after two margueritas.
Review: The first time I tried this was in a guilty moment after a couple of margueritas. It was tough to follow and FAST - and I've taken a lot of dance. I thought I did alright though...until I tried it sober. Have your remote in hand with thumb set on pause and rewind. No chance to get bored - might take till next millennium to master. Fun if you've got rhythm and patience.
