Summary: Shape Your Body is Great
Review: This video has three great workouts. The music and artistic feel will keep you from getting bored, time after time. Overall it is a stylish video and a fabulous overall workout. You will feel it the next day! Cindy is motivating. Her 2nd video, The Next Challenge is also highly recommended. It truly is more of a challenge and continues with the artsy, stylish theme of Shape Your Body.

Summary: First workout video/dvd I've stuck with.
Review: I've tried numerous video's and dvd's while exercising at home and this is the first one that I actually enjoyed doing. Cindy and her trainer Radu talk like normal people during the workout and not like a lot of others who make you want to turn the sound off.

The workout itself is very good and you will notice a difference in your shape if you stick with it. Some of the moves are done too fast but you can slow your own moves down without having to stop the dvd.

Cindy's second dvd called "The Next Challenge" is just as good as this one but it's a lot tougher. Start with "Shape Your Body" if your a beginner and work your way up to "The Next Challenge". If you try these and stick with them, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: Easy to follow, fun to do!
Review: I was at the start of a diet when I found this video. I needed something extra to omph up my fat burning without having to go to the gym and dealing with that mess!
I found this easy to follow once I veiwed it all the way through. It offers two workouts, but I found the first one to be the best and more adaptable.
60 lbs lighter and still recomending it to all my friends.

Summary: Good...But Not Good For Your Back
Review: Because of this workout, I have developed a bad back- and I'm only fifteen! I can't and don't want to do this tape ever again because ever since the first time I used it a year ago, my back hasn't been the same. Besides that, the workout is pretty well structured with Cindy's trainer, Radu. It's filmed in multiple settings like the beach, in a studio, on a rooftop... Some of it is in black and white and there are multiple songs throughout the workout. Overall, both workouts remind you of an early '90s music video. Oh yeah, there are three workouts. The first two are about 45 minutes and the third is a 10 minute "Jump-Start Mini-Workout". There isn't enough upper body toning for me and because it's focused on speed for cardio benefit, the weights used are only five pounds. I like the video overall but it unfortunately killed my back.

Summary: STILL the best workout!
Review: I had this videotape back in 1992, and I loved it soooo much that I am now buying another one! I have been doing Billy Blanks Taboe and I still think Cindy's is better. The atmosphere is constantly changing in her video which makes it more interesting to look at and not get bored so fast. The workout is TOUGH! If you are a beginner than this may not be for you...depending on your motivation. She is even sweating, taking water breaks and whining to her instructor at times. This workout uses light handweights, a chair for props, and other interesting ways to work out. I only WISH it was on DVD! It's terrific and perfect to start doing before the summer!

Summary: An All Time Favorite
Review: This video has always received horribly bad reviews but ironically, people always rave about it and the resuts you get. If you are completely out of shape, then yes, your body will not be able to handle the exercise, but that applies to any exercise program. I have over 50 workout videos and I always come back to this one when I need to get in shape because it really targets all muscle groups and it's got great music and beautiful scenery. I also love The Next Challenge which is a longer workout, but equally effective and yes, challenging. Cindy's videos are tough workouts and they are not for beginners, you could get hurt easily.

Summary: This video produces results!
Review: I started using this video in 1992 to get in shape for majorette tryouts at a university. I am still using it 11 years later to keep in shape. I disagree totally with the editorial!

Summary: what's wrong with this tape?
Review: sorry, but the edortial review was wrong. This is my all time fav workout video, you feel so good and so better about yourself after your done. And this video is excellent it really works, i havent even been doing it for a month and i can already see the results. And something else i want to say to those who say that they thru out there back, first off you have to be in shape when you start, maybe before you start this one do another work out video first that's more low impact. This video is excellent, there is a reason why it's the best selling.

Summary: THE BEST WORK OUT TAPE EVER!!!!
Review: I do not understand why are all these bad words for such a great fitness video! I love it! It is easy to follow, difficult enough to give you results, and Cindy is a great role model.
I have seen tons of videos and this is my favorite!

Summary: Truly the best workouts ever!
Review: Despite the negative editorial review, this tape rocks! I bought this tape back in 1992, and recently rebought it to get back in shape after having a baby. If you do 1 workout a day for 2 weeks you will notice a huge difference. As a former gymnast and dancer, I can say that her workouts are excellent. As for those that claim they "threw out their backs", if you're completely out of shape, well what do you expect? And she never extends her knee over her foot, she makes a point to tell you NOT to do that. Disregard the poor editorial review!
