Rating: Summary: THIS IS THE BEST WORKOUT VIDEO I HAVE EVER USED. Review: This is a serious workout video. I have tried many, many over the years, and this is the best I've found. This is a workout for the days you are SERIOUS about getting fit. The workout is a little long, but it gives you something to work into. I would not suggest this for someone who is out of shape (her post-pregnancy one is perfect for people new to working out). The count is at the right pace, and it is a total body workout. It is a little hard on the knees, and they don't say how to make that one easier, but that is my only quibble. I first found this several years ago (at a video store) and finally got it because it is simply the best I've ever found.
Rating: Summary: My all time FAVORITE! Review: This is really the best workout I've ever had! I even have backup copies! I also love her Shape Your Body workout! I feel challenged and motivated. This workout is so fun I'm almost sad when it's over. I have over 80 workout videos and Cindy's have always been my favorite. Cindy is very down to earth and you really feel worked the next day. You will be sore after doing this workout. Very effective and not boring at all. Cindy was way ahead of her time when she made her workout videos. The music and scenery are BEAUTIFUL! The excercises are very effective. I would love for all her workouts to come out on DVD!! They're out on DVD in Europe, but hopefully an English version will come out soon!
Rating: Summary: Best Workout I've Ever Had Review: I've been working out for 20 years now and have tried every aerobic class, kickboxing class, tae bo, pilates, power walking, you name it...I've done it. Nothing, and I repeat, "nothing" has ever given me a better workout than this tape. It's definitely not for beginners. This is the ONLY workout where I get up the next morning and feel where I've worked - all in my arms, inner thighs, behind, calves...everything is sore WHERE I want to be sore! The music is very motivating (not boring beats) and you feel like you're in the same room with Cindy just working out. Radu has been "hard core" for years, so those who review this tape negatively obviously have never worked as hard as Radu pushes his people. What's wrong with full sit-ups? We've been doing them for years until one day someone decides they're not good for us. You can certainly modify as Cindy suggests. This is the ONLY tape I know of that works every single body part --- AND you feel it! I accidentally taped over mine so here I am to purchase another! Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Extremely Challenging Review: I started using this video several weeks ago and have seen dramatic improvements in my arms and legs. Cindy does a great job of demonstrating the moves and then simply doing them. I get very tired of the other videos that try to "encourage" you to keep it up. The music is not the MTV-hyper music that most workout videos use. There are no dance moves or girlie exercises. Even my husband joins in on occassion. This video does not get on my nerves. I would recommend this to anyone who is up for a challenge, but it is deffinitely not for the weak.
Rating: Summary: Great Overall Workout Review: I love this tape. Too bad it is out of print. I would suggest getting a used copy - that is what I did and it worked great if you are fearful of buying the used tapes. Cindy is wonderful to spend an hour with and she does all of the queing and explanation herself (you see very little of Radu). Unlike the last tape (which I also recommend) she has slowed down her moves so you get the most benefit. It includes a leg section which is comprised of lunges, kicks, squats, etc. Then you move onto the floor for abs and CHEST. The chest exercises are great because I haven't seen them in other tapes. That is followed by standing arms. I really enjoy this because you aren't doing the same exercises in sets. You move from one to the next with only one exercise repeated. It ends with a small ab section, back exercises and stretching. I consider myself an intermediate exerciser and this tape is challenging and never dull. It does run a little over an hour but you could end earlier if pressed for time. I highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: I can't believe it's out of print!! Review: Cindy, PLEASE make a new video just like this one!! And bring this one back too please? Now I'm terrified my copy will wear out and I won't be able to replace it.I have owned this workout for years, and I recommend it to everyone. I've used it when I was fit and when I was flabby, and I just scale it back when I need to. It is interesting, totally non-annoying, super-effective, and Cindy is incredibly pleasant to spend an hour with. It is very important to do the exercises properly, and to not keep going when you get too fatigued to do them right. Having said that, I am *always* able to get a workout from this that makes me feel great and makes me feel like I made real progress. This workout is entirely different from anything else I have, and I like it 1,000 times better than anything else I have.
Rating: Summary: Most Effective Overall Review: I have many many workout videos and this one is THE BEST. It has cardio for very effective fat loss, which also tones muscles in the process, along with an excellent toning section. Radu (her trainer) really focuses on form and effectiveness and Cindy Crawford is a great inspiration, showing that she's just a regular woman like the rest of us, who just started working out to 'fit her size 6 jeans' but then found the athletic feedback to be even better. Great music and scenery, along with limited need for space and equipment (only dumbells). Definately a 'must buy' for anybody in search of a hot body.
Rating: Summary: What a GREAT workout! Review: I just got this video and love it. It really is a total body workout. I like that it has such a variety of exercises on ONE tape. Even uses weights for upper body sculpting. I also like that it has breaks that show the seconds you have left to grab a towel or get a drink before the next set of exercises. I would highly recommend this one!
Rating: Summary: Best Workout Review: This is the best complete body workout ever! I always feel I have covered every muscle. Do this 1-2 times a week plus some other routine- running, cardio, gym,and you will be in shape!!! My abs still hurt and the arms are very toning.
Rating: Summary: great workout tape!!! Review: I really haven't been able to find a workout tape like this one! I mean because it has a little for every part of the body. This tape is about 64 minutes long, which after working out so long you get relieved it is over, because it really is the "next challenge"!! The tape consists of: a warm up, about 2 mins of jumping (like rope jumping type jumps), 20mins of legs (lunges or all sorts, and some kicks) which has a lil water break every 4mins or so, then its abs 1, which has some crunches, then has some chest exercises, (which I've not been able to find any like these anywhere else), then its abs 2, then moves on to arms/shoulders/upper back for 10mins (and those hurt!), then moves on to abs 3, and continues to lower back, and cool down, et voila, you are done!! Cindy is accompanied by a personal trainer, Rudu (i believe is his name) and hes always in the background always guiding Cindy and reminding her of proper form at all times and helping her count the sets. I like this video because it has some aerobics, weight training, abs. It is a well-rounded tape, even though after a while the second half of the tape (from abs1 to lower back) it gets to be not so challenging, but you can always change the sets to suit your fitness level. The background seems to be an empty loft, and the desert. The music is very soothing, (it has a Blondie song). I'd recommend this tape, it is nicely done.
