Rating: Summary: Good Arm Workout Review: I found this video to be intense, but not so much that you want to give up halfway through a workout. Good for not very active people.
Rating: Summary: great dvd to add to your collection Review: this is a great dvd because this workout focuses on your legs, biceps, triceps, obliques, abs and butt. You can feel the difference. I like the fact that the workouts are split into 20 min segments because I am the type that gets bored easy. This way in just a short time I have done something good for my body. She doesn't waste her time with moves that don't get results she does moves that will give you results.
Rating: Summary: second program for buns is lighter than the first one Review: Love the programm. It is short and efficient. But do not know why the second part for buns is lighter than the first one. If program 1 is hard for you do not be affraid to go to program 2.
Rating: Summary: Good workout but not for beginners Review: Tamilee's workouts are challenging and fun. I just started this week so I don't see the results yet, but I definitely feel the burn. One reservation I have is that I don't think she gives enough instruction about proper form and body position to make this a safe work-out for beginners. For those with a little experience, this is definitely one of the better body-sculpting series out there.
Rating: Summary: Very Good and Professionally Done Review: I bought this for my wife, but tried it out myself. I'm very impressed with it. There's no crowd of smiling, bouncing, beautiful people. No blasting music. No silly, complex dance steps. It's just one professional woman, speaking calmly, going through the well-thought-out, simple exercises to nice, subtle, music. Very refreshing. I've only gone through the first program for the three body parts covered (and only did one of the three sets she does), but it was a darn good workout (actually, I thought I was going to die :) ). The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think it should include at least a token set of chest exercises. But, after the workout, when I can breathe again, I just do a set of push-ups. That pretty much rounds out the whole body (at least for doing exercises that don't require specialized equipment). Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Versatile and effective. Review: You get two sets of exercises for each of your arms, abs and buns -- that's six sets in all, which you can do in about one and a half hours if you have the time. Otherwise you can break them down based on the body part you want to work out, how much time you have, and the intensity level you want. Although the first set of exercises is easier, it's not lame and you will be sore the next day. I've followed Tamilee's workouts since she did the Buns of Steel videos, and I can say this DVD is the best one yet. No daunting moves or choreography. No fancy equipment. All you need are a set of 5 lb. dumbells (or heavier, if you prefer) and a chair with a low seat. After giving birth, I was able to go back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I was flabby. This DVD not only toned me up, it helped me add a little bulk and actually gave me the abs I never had, not even in my 20's when my tummy was flatter. Now if only I can do something about the stretch marks...
Rating: Summary: A MUST HAVE SUPPLEMENT DVD!!! BUY IT NOW! Review: This dvd is just awesome! I'm 31 now and I used to workout to her videos in College and when I purchased a similar dvd, amazon recommended this one. Let me tell you she looks exactly the same and these 3 workout segments WILL KICK YOUR BUTT!! There are 2 programs the 2nd more difficult than the first...each 15 minutes long. All you need is a mat and 5-8 lb. weights. Even if you don't have weights, I PROMISE you Will feel the burn for the next couple of days. I Use this dvd for my abs 3x a week and I do arms and legs on alternate days. Sometimes I latch a 15 ab routine on right after 45 minutes of a cardio program....I feel so great...I am just so glad I took a chance and bought it!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Workout Review: This is a great DVD to have in your collection if you find it hard to fit a workout into a busy schedule. You get 2 levels for each workout, buns, abs, and arms that are 15 min. each. I always find I can fit at least 1 routine into my evening but usually find once I get started I end up doing all three! Tamilee is an excellent instructor and she's actually shaped like a real woman (in great condition!). I wonder how old she is?
Rating: Summary: It's ok, but........ Review: Technically, Tamilee knows her stuff, but honestly, your body will not end up looking like Tamilee's body, just by doing this workout. "I Want that Body!" is marketing appeal to help sell this video.
Rating: Summary: Challenging Review: I found this video very challenging. I regularly do Tae Bo,and Pilates and some weight training, so I do consider myself in pretty good shape. However, I could feel these excercises working from the very start. The 2nd set of ab workouts is very hard, but very effective. I actually thought the 1st set of butt exercises were harder than the 2nd. I really like the fact that depending on how you feel on a particular day, you can mix and match the workouts to suit your energy level. Another good point is that Tammilee is not annoying like some instructors; and she seems to be a real fitness expert instead of the "movie star/model turned fitness guru" types I would strongly recommend this tape, escpecially if you combine it with an aerobic activity.
