Rating: Summary: I like it! Review: This is the 2nd of Leslie's video's for me. I got it because I have her Walk Away the Pounds 3-mile video, and I love that one. This one I don't like as much, because I like the toning aspect of using hand weights. This one doesn't have that, but it's still a very good workout. Besides, nothing stops you from using your handweights anyway if you want to. Leslie is upbeat and positive as usual, and as chatty as usual. But I don't mind, because her personality seems so down-to-earth. I plan to add more of her tapes to my collection.
Rating: Summary: This Walking Workout ROCKS! Review: I've had this 4-mile video for a while and let me tell you: although I've been doing Leslie's 1, 2, and 3 mile workouts (especially the 2 and 3), when I first did the 4 mile all the way through I was pooped! A fantastic 1 hr workout that is not too complicated or dancy, and I like the fact that there are REAL people working out along with her (not the size 2 models you sometimes see on certain aerobics tapes). Also, you don't need any special equipment or weights for this one (unless you are really ambitious). If you are a beginner, though, I would modify the moves or work my way up by doing the 1, 2, or 3 mile workouts to build your endurance. Overall, this is an excellent tape.
Rating: Summary: Super Workout Review: As owner of numerous other Leslie's tapes, this workout ranks as amongst her best! It's a super-charged one-hour aerobic conditioning walk, to the beat of up tempo and at times funky music. I love it!! It goes by so quickly and you don't even realize that you have just done something wonderful for your body. This is a must for Leslie's fans.
Rating: Summary: CONVIENIENT AND MOTIVATING Review: I LOVE THE THREE TAPE SET OF WALK AWAY THE POUNDS. I AM A KINDERGARTEN SHOOL TEACHER AND YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD GET ENOUGH EXECISE JUST DOING THAT. I AM MENTALLY DRAINED BY THE END OF THE DAY TRYING TO STAY A STEP AHEAD OF THE LITTLE ONES. WALK AWAY THE POUNDS IS FUN AND EASY....IT TAKES HARDLY ANY THINKING SKILLS TO USE THIS TAPE YET IT GIVES AN EXTREMELY PRODUCTIVE WORKOUT. IT IS SO CONVIENIENT I DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE IF I DON'T WANT TO. I CAN WALK AWAY THE POUNDS IN MY LIVING ROOM AND WALK RIGHT TO THE SHOWER AND RELAX! I LOVE IT!
Rating: Summary: Great video Review: This video just showed up in my mailbox today (dang you guys at amazon.com are fast!) and I used it also. What a great workout! :) I liked that she left out some of the arm movements and focused on making this a fast/upbeat workout. The music was nice also and upbeat/funky.
Rating: Summary: Terrific Video! Review: I own the 2 Mile Walk (and like it very much) and have been doing that tape for about a month. I didn't know if I'd be able to handle the 4 mile tape yet, but I tried it for the first time yesterday and didn't have any problems. I've done some of her videos where she uses the weighted balls, but usually I prefer to exercise without weights. This video doesn't use them, but it does keep you busy and gets your heart rate up for nearly an hour. The moves are simple (even more simple than the 2 Mile Walk), but upbeat. I'm slowly getting into shape and losing weight. If you aren't super-athletic, but want to work out and get fit, Leslie Sansone has the very best programs.I highly recommend this tape AND 2 Mile Walk.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST LESLIE WORK OUT YET! Review: I have several Leslie Sansome workout videos and this one puts the others to shame. It lasts about an hour and the pace is MUCH FASTER than any of the others. I finished about 30 minutes ago and my heart is still pumping. And one of the best parts is that Leslie keeps her trademark incessant chattering to a minimum- YAY!! If you are looking for a serious aerobic workout, look no further!
Rating: Summary: Awesome, easy and challenging workout! Review: I just started doing some of Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds workouts and wanted something more challenging. After reading the reviews I decided to give this one a try. I just used it this morning and I love it. I like the fact that you don't use your arms as much, but you walk in place alot faster then her other videos.
Rating: Summary: Leslie does it again Review: I am a big fan of the 3 mile Walk Away the Ounds video and feared disappointment in the new 4 mile video. I am thrilled to report that Leslie did not disappoint!! I was pleasantly surprised at how fast paced the video is and how quickly time flies. Leslie, you keep on talking - it makes an hour seem like 5 minutes! A definite keeper.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Workout! Review: I use Leslie Sansone's 3 mile walk every day and I was looking forward to this new 4 mile tape coming out. This tape is wonderful! The workout is fast, fun and energetic. I have done this 4 mile workout for 5 days in a row now and love it! The workout is effective, the music is fun and motivating and you feel wonderful after those 4 "powerful" miles! I highly recommend this tape and all other Walk Away the Pounds tapes. As Leslie would say, "Get up and get moving"
