Rating: Summary: Impressive work for a VERY LOW budget film shot on DV Review: Gambling Divinity has some good and not-so-good qualities. The direction by Riconosciuto is excellent. The cast is decent. The actor who plays Trip and Lucifer are great. Very believable and realistic. The others, not so great. They look like they are trying to hard. The story has a very interesting premise that has almost mythological qualities of God vs Satan, good vs evil. Scripted brilliantly. Cinematography is excellent, considering this was shot entirely on DV. Great use of lighting effects, indoors and out. Choreography for the fight scenes are wonderful, and they were edited in a very cohesive manner; something quite difficult in films with martial arts scenes. Overall, a very impressive effort with some flaws. But the impressive qualities out-do the bad ones.
Rating: Summary: A fun watch Review: I am as big a fan of the envelope pushing indie's as anyone, but there are all too often a lack of storytelling and talent trying to be different for the sake of being different. They lack the magic you love about WELL MADE Hollywood films. "Gambling Divinity" effectively gives you the daring plot and all around "ride" that makes a good film experience just that while leaving you with laughter and heart. It also proves that there can be a solid level of special effects from a low budget indie. It shows sure handed direction and a solid lead performance by Scott Tuton.

Rating: Summary: Great Indie Review: I, being a collector of indie movies, took a chance on this one and was happily surprised. Fantastic acting in this film, it effortlessly weaves through drama, comedy, satire, action. The featurette is nearly as entertaining as the movie. The director, Raffaelle Ricono...damn, who can spell that guys name? Anyways, Raffaelle is unafraid to tackle epic topics, and leads us through "heaven and hell"- as it were. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Independent film Review: This film is packed with action, comedy, everything that you can think of in a warming story. The features on the DVD are excellent, totally worth it
Rating: Summary: A fun watch Review: This light-hearted film about good vs. evil is a well made student production with real potential in its writing and acting.
