Summary: Well done and great help.
Review: Buying and selling fixer upper houses is a part time business of mine. I bought this DVD and book series to help me learn more and it saved me a lot of time and money on my own deals. Great information at a great price and I learned many tips and techniques that the pros use to evaluate homes.

Occassionally I still hire a professional inspector to check out a home that needs a lot of repairs but that's only because 1 DVD can't teach you everything. But for the price the DVD is a great deal and worth buying.

Summary: You will learn fantastic information on home inspection.
Review: My husband and I had purchased the Real Estate Appraisal book written by this author, Guy Cozzi, and we were extremely pleased with what we learned. The book saved us tens of thousands of dollars when we remodeled our home before selling it. We also purchased both of the DVDs that Guy Cozzi created to learn even more before we remodeled our home and put it on the market for sale. The DVDs were also a very good purchase that we are happy we made. My husband and I are not real estate experts but wanted to learn enough to make sure the contractors that were going to be remodeling and improving our home were telling us everything we needed to know. We had some past experiences with contractors making repairs at our home and over-charging us for sub-standard work. Since we are not real estate or building experts, my husband and I wanted to make sure that never happened again - especially with the $115,000.00 home remodeling job we were planning. These DVDs were a great help to us in our decision making process. If you are a home seller or planning to remodel or improve your home, then the DVDs and books by this author are an phenomenal invest that is well worth the price!

Summary: Old And Outdated Production
Review: This is old and not a very professionally produced product "As The presenter states" at the beginning. Sorry but for the price, it's definately not worth the money. A big F+!!!

Summary: Outstanding DVD for any home buyer or seller!! Incredible!
Review: This is truly an outstanding DVD for any home buyer or seller. When I bought my house I used the information provided on this DVD and it was incredibly important to help save me money, time and aggravation! The menus are very professional and easy to find the real estate topic you need right away. Every topic is covered in detail. I purchased both DVDs in this "Real Estate From A to Z" series and both were excellent and I even have purchased several of these DVDs for gifts to my relatives and friends that are buying or selling their homes. The free 80 page DVD Companion Guidebook is a download file from the Nemmar Real Estate Training web site at www.nemmar.com and that was a great add-on to the DVD. Overall I would say you'll HAVE TO buy this DVD if you want to save thousands of dollars and eliminate any problems when you buy, sell or renovate your house.

Summary: very happy with my purchase - learned great advice
Review: Very happy that I saw this DVD before I sold my home. I was able to learn some great advice and take care of many items in my house that needed to be upgraded so that my sales price would be as high as the market would allow. All the buyers that came by to see my home including the real estate brokers for the open house found everything working correctly. I learned what to have the home maintenance contractors repair or update so that the buyers and realtors and home inspectors did not find anything that needing repairs.

My heating system was tuned up, the air conditioner was tested and OK, some plumbing pipes needed replacing due to rust and a minor leak at one section, baths and kitchens had new electrical outlets installed, my deck needed additional support braces that were metal on some of the wood structure parts, and there were some safety issues that were taken care of. All of this would have lowered the sales price on my house if I did not realize what needed to be repaired before the brokers and buyers came by. Even one of the home inspectors hired by a buyer complimented me on the good condition of my house!

I also bought the appraisal book in this series which was excellent also. That was something else I wanted to learn about before listing my home for sale to find out what the buyers bank appraiser would look for in relation to a mortgage loan.

Summary: Professionally done DVD video with lots of helpful items!
Review: When I was buying my home I got this DVD series and found it to have lots of helpful advice. I wanted to make sure I learned as much as I could because I relied on the Realtors and an unqualified inspector for my last home purchase and it was a costly mistake.

This time around I made sure I educated myself more so I could find some problems and repairs needed on my own. Both this DVD and the other DVD in this series had every topic covered that was necessary for me to know, such as:

OPERATING SYSTEMS DVD topics include:
heating systems (gas, oil, steam, hot water, and hot air heating),
air-conditioning, water heaters, plumbing, well water system, septic system, electrical system,
gas service, and auxiliary systems.
Health Concerns topics including: asbestos insulation, radon gas, and water testing.

The other DVD in this series covers the INTERIOR and EXTERIOR topics:
roof, chimneys, siding, eaves, gutters, drainage and grading,
windows, walkways, entrances and porches, driveways, walls and fences,
patios and terraces, decks, swimming pools, exterior structures,
wood destroying insects, garage, kitchen, bathrooms,
floors and stairs, walls and ceilings, windows and doors,
fireplaces, attics, ventilation, insulation,
basement and lower level, water penetration.

If you're buying a home you should educate yourself with products like these DVDs so you don't have to rely on other people. That way you won't have headaches and expensive repair bills afterwards.

This DVD is a highly recommended purchase!
