Rating: Summary: Personal Handgun Course Review: I enjoyed this DVD. It's starts with a woman (Lee Purcell) who's frightened by a noise while home alone with her young son. There's a gun in her house, but she doesn't know how to use it. A male friend & neighbor (Geoffrey Lewis) suggests that she get some instruction, she does, and the movie takes off from there. It's like having your own 1-hour handgun course in your living room. I found it to be smoothly paced, very informative without being overwhelming, and it offers clear, concise instruction on handgun basics. I didn't care much for the cheesy soundtrack at the beginning, but that's what mute & fast-forward buttons are for. Overall a good video with solid info for women interested in handgun fundamentals. Narrated by Gerald McRaney.
