Rating: Summary: Low Frills Review: While I am a big Sheryl Crow fan, I was disappointed in the absence of extras that make DVD so enjoyable. Though I am not as much of a fan of Sarah McClachlan, the producers of "Rockin' the Globe" could take a lesson from the "Mirrorball" folks, who absolutely packed that DVD to the gills. If you're simply a fan of Crow's music, this will certainly satisfy. If you're looking for a little more bang for your DVD buck then you're sure to be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: A Sheryl Fan's Dream Review: While I was a little nervous about buying this after reading some of the reviews, I was VERY pleasantly surprised at this piece. She is such an amazing performer, but "Rockin'" focuses on a side of Sheryl that we hadn't really seen pre-; songs like "Riverwide," "Am I Getting Through" (with part II done in its entirety) and "It Don't Hurt" show how much she has truly matured as a musician. The absolute showstopper is the encore "Home," which is undoubtedly the most incredible performance of a song I have ever witnessed. The purchase of this DVD is entirely validated by this song alone - it will break your heart. Sheryl fans should not sleep until they own this concert.
