Summary: Love Sheryl Crow -- Hate this Sound Mixing
Review: Lovely, highly talented, Sheryl Crow is a joy to listen to and look at while she's singing. However, if you are a highly sensitive audiophile, pass on this DVD. The sound mixing is an embarassment to any professional. Sub-standard doesn't describe the sound mixing on this DVD. It's so bad some instruments are barely audible, and Sheryl's voice is set at a lower level than the drums at times. Shame, shame.

For me, though, I got it at a six dollar price and it's worth it just to get to watch Sheryl do her thing (yeah, baby).

Summary: Slightly disappointing
Review: Maybe I had too high expectations, but this dvd doesn't do justice to what is like to see Sheryl Crow live. As some other people here have commented, the sound mix is lousy. Half of the time you can barely hear the guitar, but the violin is mixed far too high. I'm a fan of this woman and her music, but this dvd leaves you with a half-empty glass feeling. The performances are a little insipid. I sure had thanked some more fire into them. Sheryl Crow sounds a little tired, or is it the bad sound mix again?

Summary: A worthwhile purchase despite its issues
Review: Most of the negative comments surrounding this DVD are valid, yet I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. Even though the sound mixing is substandard, Sheryl's performance is quite good. In addition, it's nice to have footage of Sheryl singing her lesser-known (but still high-quality) songs such as "Am I Getting Through" and "Riverwide." Customers should buy this DVD despite its flaws.

Summary: Worthy of repeated watching
Review: Sheryl Crow and her band are presented in fine form on this DVD. The band is not just backing her up, they are solidly playing WITH her. They are obviously very well rehearsed with tight playing all around. Sheryl's voice is top notch, and the drummer's subtle background vocals are right on. The video is presented without the all-too-often "special effects" some live concert films just can't stay away from. The camera work is very good, the picture is clear and sharp, and it appears (to me) that there are no over-dubs or voice-overs. The audio track (DTS) is accurate, and you sound like you're there, especially when played very loud. The only minor bummer is the occasional audience shot. They're all suffering from jet-lag or something. Perhaps they weren't selling alcohol at the show. I find myself playing this disc over and over, and this is a great disc to show off your system. Even if your just a marginal fan of Sheryl Crow, this show will win you over.

Summary: Soundly disappointed
Review: Sheryl Crow is a great talent and this DVD makes that abundantly clear. Unfortunately, the quality of the sound mix is substandard. If you listen to it in ordinary stereo, it is almost impossible to understand the lyrics. In multi-channel mode, it's only marginally better. Some reviewers have compared this DVD's sound unfavorably to that of the Eagles' Hell Freezes Over which has great sound. Those folks are correct. However, the difference is not the technology because the Eagles sound fine in two channel stereo.

Summary: This for me the best rock video ever
Review: Superb musically, superb visually and a gorgeous looking singer.

I was really quite surprised to see that this was recorded in 1999 as the make up and clothing she used made Sheryl Crow look far younger and more exciting than the photos on CD cover sheets made several years earlier.

I hope she makes another video soon and includes Run Baby Run which was sadly missing from this video cassette.

Summary: Great energy
Review: The song content of this dvd is awesome. Every track is a good one. Sheryl Crow has to be one of the best female song writers and performers ever. A multi-talented musician also. In this concert she goes from playing acoustic guitar to bass guitar to harmonica to electric guitar and finally to piano. Amazing! The only complaint I have is about the recording itself. I had to adjust the volume on my reciever every other song. Sometimes the bass was so loud you could barely hear the other instraments, other times you could barely understand the vocals. I expected more from a DTS recording(ex. Eagles: hell freezes over) but overall a must have!

Summary: Wonderful
Review: This is a wonderful video for anyone who is a sheryl crow fanatic like myself. it is the next best thing to being at one of her concerts in person. I don't know about the sound quality but it sounds pretty damn good to me.

Summary: Good Clean Video, but kind of boring
Review: This show could have been much cooler if the stage setup was thought out about beforehand. Sheryl rocks as per usual, but the production is kind of lame. The sound is mediocre at best. Some instruments are mixed weird, little staging in the mix as well.
