Summary: really for slightly older kids
Review: As a traditional massage feature, it does not go through the detailed step by step approach. The child is indicated as being one year old. For those who wish to engage in a specific program of massage, perhaps for therapeutic purposes (as is on many baby massage tapes) this DVD doesn't do that. However, as a tape that shows one how to create a bond of touching and caring with your child and in a way that can be fun and enjoyable for both, this DVD does just that. There is perhaps too much repetition (little on the back, much on the legs) but it was not meant to be a total program DVD. Technically, the shadows from others in the room detract from the quality of the DVD, as they intrude on the massage table. As yes, it is done on a massage table, rather than a blanket on the floor. If you have had a grounding in massage techniques, you will probably not like this DVD. If you wish to discard some of the rituals of massage and connect with your child in a loving and caring way, you will probably like this DVD.

Summary: Great for any parent or parent-to-be
Review: I had no idea that massage was so useful for children until I started reading up on the topic. I shopped around online and found this video. It turns out, it's the perfect watch-along video to see exactly what to do while you're doing it. I'd consider this a must buy for parents. Heck, it would even make a nice to expectant parents.

Summary: Excellent massage aid and present!
Review: I just recently got this video and wanted to say how pleased I was with its quality and competence of instruction. I had been looking for an affordable, decent video on infant massage to learn some techniques to use on my newborn when I ran across this one. It showed me how to give my newborn massage therapy, and increased our bonding experience. It will also be good for showing me how to perform massage through the toddler years, as it teaches several different techniques.
She really enjoyed the massage techniques used in the video when I practiced them on her legs and feet. I also bought a copy for my friend (who has a child of similar age) and she loves it.
I would recommend this video to every parent...thanks again and good job!

Summary: Thank you an excellent DVD!
Review: I really appreciate this DVD where I can fine tune the points of bonding with my baby through massage therapy. I have always believed that moms and dads can make such headway with their children if they nurture, touch and bond with them at the beginning stages of life. I believe that it will head off so many problems that we may have to deal with as they go into their adolescent years. I bought this and have found in the short time that I've watched it and have used it that my baby loves the time I spend with her and looks forward to this special time. She must have ESP as she knows when to expect it ;) I really believe it was well worth the money and want to thank you for for making it so affordable. It was well done and easy to follow and understand. Five stars from Florida!!! * * * * *

Summary: Very Pleased With Baby Massage Therapy
Review: I want to say how happy I am I bought this DVD. It's a healthy way to bond with my baby and she's so much happier since I've started massaging her. She sleeps much better and is now sleeping through the night when I give her a massage before bedtime. You can tell she looks forward to our time together. I will continue these sessions as she grows and matures as I feel it's a wonderful way to stay close to her. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I wish my mom had done this for me as a child.

Summary: Thumbs Up For An Excellent DVD
Review: I was extremely impressed with how easily it was to go through the steps and help me improve a greater connection with my baby. When he's feeling restless and uneasy I use the tender touches shown to me in this tape and he settles right down. It's amazing. I truly believe that he is more emotionally healthy and physically healthy with the bonding that my baby and I have achieved with the help of this DVD. I'm buying this as a gift for several of my friends who have younger children. I think that it's never too late to start to touch your children in a loving, caring, nurturing way. My one daughter is 15 and I asked her the other day if she'd like a back rub and her eyes lit up and she said YES! She laid across my lap on the sofa as I rubbed oil on her and we had the best mother daughter talk we've had in ages. You can be sure, we'll be doing this again soon and often. Moms... it's never too late to bond with your kids. Trust me. I love this DVD and highly recommend it. Fran aka Mom from North Florida.

Summary: Baby Massage Therapy
Review: I wish I could return this! I didn't even want to rate it with one star. The production quality is poor, to be generous. The massage therapist seems creepy [to me] and the poor baby obviously wants to escape. Most of all, the techniques used by the "professional" were methods that any parent would instinctually use to relax, soothe or comfort their child. We didn't learn a thing.

Summary: Not worth the $$
Review: I'm disappointed with this DVD. It ... has one man massage one baby the whole time. There are no toddlers or infants in any demo. He talks the whole time, but only demonstrates a few massage techniques. He doesn't even practice good baby safety by having the baby on a table that she can't roll off of. Finally, at the end the baby is clearly annoyed with the massage and the masseuse doesn't take the hint. So it does provide some useful techniques but isn't worth the money as far as I am concerned.

Review: Thank you for this DVD. It's been very useful in helping Mom and me bond with our darling baby. I can see that we will be using it as Darin grows. I'm making it a Christmas present to many of those that we met in our pregnancy classes. They will love it as much as we do. You guys and gals did a marvelous job and it came at the right time for us to start setting patterns that will stick with us and be positive habit forming. I am a firm believer that touching and bonding with our baby early on will keep him close to us all of his life. I wish all parents out there would buy and watch this. It's the best money you will ever spend!
