Rating: Summary: Awesome CISSP Boot Camp at your convenience! Review: ...Until I came across this DVD series, I was resigned to just studying the books. I took a chance on this course, and it is worth every penny of my money. It is a recorded CISSP Boot Camp, and Shon Harris is the instructor. Her pace is good and the content has been edited to only cover what you need to know without the regular distractions you would have at a regular boot camp. Do not expect a DVD that you can throw in to a regular DVD Player. This series is in Quick Time format and each domain has about ten lessons. I can pause to take notes, rewind for refreshers and take a break anytime I want. I also got the CISSP book with review questions. They go hand in hand. If you are tired of trying to soak the information up from just reading a book, try this DVD series. If your like me, you learn more from visuall and audio cues. This is not possible by merely reading from a book. The other courses I have done similiar to this are spread over 10-20 CD ROMs. Here it is on three DVDs. Finally, I found something to use the DVD reader on my laptop for, besides watching movies for entertainment. I have paid my exam fee and I am confident I will pass on my first attempt. Thanks to the great instruction from Shon Harris and the folks at Logical Security and ARO Designs. I hope they come out with a CISSM course soon. If you are looking for a good Boot Camp - You just found it!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Prep for CISSP! Review: But it doesn't stand alone. In other words, don't expect to just watch these DVDs and pass the test. A good CISSP prep book, like Shon Harris' All In One CISSP, this CISSP DVD Certification Package, and a significant amount of private study will be necessary for proper preparation for a grueling six-hour exam that covers a broad array of knowledge in both computer and physical security. For some, an additional review boot camp experience might be also necessary. However, this DVD Certification Package is excellent. It is very well done and will be a big help to those aspiring to attain the CISSP level of security certification. Shon Harris is hard to beat as a CISSP instructor. She literally "wrote the book!"

Rating: Summary: good, but could be better Review: I viewed the video that came with the CISSP All-in-One book. It was on Domain 5, Cryptography. I think Shon Harris did a good job in the video, but she seems to repeat the same thing twice or even three times during the lecture. We all know CISSP covers a lot of topics, so I think she could have just say things once, not over and over. Maybe some of you might like it.
Rating: Summary: She "wrote the book" on CISSP Review: Learn what you need to pass the CISSP exam, in your free time and at your own pace. You will save a ton of money compared to attending a 7-day (or more!) "boot camp" and will be able to learn the CBK (10 subject area common body of knowledge) on a much deeper basis, too.

Rating: Summary: I have no working experience and can't attend the CISSP exam Review: Shon Harris's video is very helpfull to every candidate all over the world. I'm Chinese, but I bought Harris's CISSP All-in-one certification guide (3rd edition) from Amazon.com. I really want to attend this 6-hour, challenging exam, and I have the CCNP, MCSE, A+Ci-Net+ , and CIW associate certificates. But I'm only a college student, I have no working experience, so I do not match the condition required to attend the CISSP exam (it requires about 3 years on-job experience). So I have no choice but admire you guys :( So, study well and pass the exam on your first try!
