Summary: well done!!!
Review: This video covers a lot of ground, keeping true to an essential form. I was impressed by Barbara's in depth commentary and guidance through the postures as well as the models acurate and refined demonstration. I have benifited greatly from this video in my own practice and would recomend it to anyone interested in creating a specific yoga practice to enhance thier performance in whatever sport they do.

Summary: Good buuut....
Review: This workout is a little too slow for my taste; I think it's just this style, where it concentrates more on breathing instead of what I prefer, which is flowing from one pose to the next. My attention span is short; I don't do yoga because I love it, I do it because it's supposed to improve my swimming and surfing! The people who made it should know that athletes are used to a little more adrenaline; the tempo and style needs to be upped.

That said; it definately has tons of different exercises and sequences, so you can choose something that is 20 minutes or 60 minutes, isolate certain muscles, work on your flexibility versus balance, etc. etc. Which is great. For someone who wants a lot of variety in one DVD, and has a certain patience and focus for yoga, this would be good. I am going to keep looking though

Summary: The future is now!
Review: What an amazing concept! As a triathlete I make a substantial time investment in swim, bike, run training. This DVD allows me to select the sport I want to focus on in the first menu selection, then the body part and amount of time from the second menu. With time as a precious commodity, I can follow a 40 mile ride with a 20 minute hip routine or on an "active rest" day do an hour with overall running as the key.

Just for kicks, I've checked out what the teacher suggests football players do for a shoulder routine. It was a nice change of pace! This disk has well over 100 routine options. A true bargain when compared to a one routine video.

Since adding yoga to my training program, this 50 year old guy will see many more tri-seasons! And this is what DVD is all about. Multiple configuations... we'll see more like this I'm sure!

Summary: Disappointed & out the $
Review: WOW! My husband and I were soooo excited about getting this DVD! We thought there would be routines for all sort of physical activities. We even saw the DVD at REI, and felt if they carried it, it must be great....WRONG. It should be entitled: YOGA MOVES WITH MONOTONE VOICEOVERS! We are not only out the money, but terribly disappointed in what could have been a great workout! We love Bryan Kest, Kathy Smith, and Patricia Walden, but this guy and gal need to take note of a good workout routine! Anyone want to buy our DVD before it goes in the trash or a garage sale for .50???????
