Summary: only for beginners
Review: I have been doing yoga for a few years now, and was looking for something that was a great workout, yet avoided positions that were beginning to feel uncomfortable or unsafe (like the bow pose, deep twists). I'd consider myself an intermediate at yoga, but this was way too easy. It did show some useful modifications to accomidate my growing belly, but that was the limit of its usefulness. The overabundance of leg lifts and kegels also were annoying. I don't need a yoga tape to do those. (they aren't even yoga moves!). But having sampled several pregnancy yoga workouts (this being the worst one), I have come to the conclusion that no one will endorse a vigorous workout for pregnancy. Maybe they're too afraid of liability, I don't know. Just do your regular yoga routine, don't do anything that puts pressure on your belly, and modify everything else however you can to make it more comfortable. (any yoga DVD can help you with this part)

Summary: great session
Review: I have been doing yoga once a week in a class for almost 2 years and I am now 19 weeks pregnant so I wanted to continue yoga in a safe way. After reading through all the reviews on the various yoga videos and dvds, I decided to try this one since it got rave reviews. I am quite happy with the purchase--Rocki is a great instructor--not too touchy feeling nor too much blabbing. She has a soothing voice and the movements flow (not too much stalling). There are plenty of kegels, so this is a good time to get those in. The workout is sufficient and there are a number of pregnant women to see how you compare. The only thing that I would like better is that it were in a dvd format.

Summary: Best Pregnancy Yoga Tape I've Found
Review: I have five pregnancy yoga tapes, and this is my favorite. It mixes some traditional yoga poses in with some especially designed for pregnancy. It contains kegel exercises, and some pilates-style leg lifts.
The first 1/2 of the tape is floorwork/poses (downward dog, squats, leg lifts), and then it moves on to standing work (tree pose, spinal twists, more squats). The video ends with some stretching and relaxation.
Rocki has a very calming voice, and doesn't talk too much during the workout. Not only will you feel more energized after this video, but you will feel like you got a workout in too. You will get a little cardio benefit from it, as well as stretching and relaxation.

Summary: Perfect Prenatal Yoga Workout
Review: I just got this video and I've used it every day this week. I love it. I feel very centered and energized afterwards. It's the perfect way to start the day! Someone earlier in these reviews said she lacked stage presence but I disagree. This is YOGA! She's not supposed to be bouncing around like Tweety Bird! I think she's a very effective instructor.

Summary: The best I've found
Review: I like Rocki and I like this video. I found out about her in an article in Fit Pregnancy. I learned that she has been doing this for years and that she is a teacher's teacher. She has taught many of the yoga instructors which means she knows what she's doing. She clearly the best at what she does and it shows. I want the best for me and my baby and Rocki's work out gives me energy and she helps me tune into my new baby. I haven't found another Prenatal Yoga instructor that can do both.

Summary: Finally feeling GOOD...
Review: I love doing yoga....but being pregnant makes it an absolute necessity for me. I feel unbelievable after I do this video! It is true that Rocki doesn't have the best "screen presence" but the workout is great and I highly recommend this video. Crunch Yoga Mama is also excellent....a lot easier to do than this video and better production value...the two video are great to switch off with.

Summary: best yoga workout ever
Review: I love this tape! I've been doing it since my first trimester and I always feel better the days I work out with it. The breathing makes me feel good and I especially loved the meditation at the end. The teacher explains the poses well and even offers different ways to do them, depending on how far along you are. I don't know what I'd do without it !

Summary: good workout, calming, enjoyable
Review: i love this video, it is relaxing throughout -- but your body gets a good workout! my only criticism is that it is not clear until you actually view the tape that you will need a blanket, and maybe a block and strap in addition to your mat. but, it's great, and i would heartily recommend it to all pregnant women who are interested in doing yoga!

Summary: Best yoga workout I've done!
Review: I love this workout. Rocki seems very knowledgeable and offers a lot of different variations on poses. (I'm not very stretchy and that helps me a bunch, since I can't do all of the poses full out.) I've been doing this for 4 months now, though, and I think I'm stretchier than I was!

The meditation is great and the ujay (sp?) breathing alone makes me feel calm and happy. I love that I get a chance to focus on my new baby-most of the time I'm rushing around buying all the stuff I'm going to need, fixing up the baby's room-all the external stuff.

At first I wasn't sure if this was a tough enough workout, but now that I'm 8 months, let me tell you, it's HARD. A friend who told me about this said she's convinced doing it is why her labor and delivery went fast. I guess I'll find out! I recommend this to everyone!

Summary: Best prenatal yoga workout I've found
Review: I purchased this DVD because of the positive reviews that I read, and I was not disappointed. During my first trimester I felt pretty wasted most of the time and therefore got no exercise at all. I'm so thankful that I decided to try this workout now that I'm feeling better. There are some tough poses and stretches but I know it will get easier with practice. I really love Rocki's new age approach to meditation. The spiritual and physical peace you can receive from this experience is extraordinary. The quiet, restful time in this DVD made it the very best choice for me.
