Summary: Highly recommended!
Review: I did this workout throughout my whole pregnancy and I'm totally convinced that's why I bounced back so quickly. It kept me in shape (well, you know what I mean-everything's relative when you're hugely pregnant)and kept me feeling great while I was pregnant. My husband could tell the days I didn't work out because I didn't have the same energy as when I did yoga.

The sequences are thorough-kind of easy when you're barely pregnant and tough when you're full term. The stretching and breathing alone is worth its weight in gold for me. I love the meditation Rocki does, too. It's nice but not too "new agey" for me.

Best of all for me, I just had my baby 3 weeks ago and went back to doing this tape a few days ago-and felt good. I hope Rocki puts out a postnatal workout-I bet it would be great. I did her Labor Prep tapes and we loved them. They really helped my husband and I work together when I was in labor.

This workout is terrific and I really recommend it. Fit Pregnancy and LA Magazine say it's the best prenatal yoga class, so I'm in good company. I couldn't have gotten through my pregnancy without it.

Summary: Brava, Rocki!
Review: Finally, a prenatal yoga video I can recommend to my students! This video is safe and energizing and respectful of the pregnant woman's body and baby. The expectant mother is in good hands and company with Rocki's solid and soothing instruction guiding them through their pregnancy. This is a video that makes the prenatal body feel good. Well done!

Summary: Perfect for a yoga novice...
Review: I am a first time mom-to-be and a yoga novice. I was amazed that the first time I tried this video was the very night I felt my baby move for the first time (at 13 weeks!)... and I've had the same result every time I've done this workout. I feel very 'in tune' with the baby while using this DVD and that carries over into the rest of my day... by nighttime, I feel the wee one fluttering around in my belly and I know I've done something good for the baby and for me. The DVD is not strenuous, but I do feel challenged. Her voice is soothing and she keeps a great pace. What an excellent way to spend an hour of my day...

Summary: Highly NOT recommended
Review: I am an avid yoga enthusiast and was in great shape when I learned I was pregnant, so it was important to continue with my active lifestyle and incorporate prenatal yoga as part of my reportoire. I was sorely dissipaonted in this video in my 1st trimester becuase it was WAY too easy and lacked any traditional yoga conditioning. I recently came back to it 1 week before my due date (I suddenly craved a change!) and was even MORE disapointed because the movement actually hurt me! She puts far too much emphasis on child's pose which is terribly uncomfortable in the late stages of your pregnancy AND she has you rotate your hips/belly while on all fours which is against ALL of gravity's rules. I was laid up for 3 days thanks to just 1/2 hour of this video. Worst part is I KNEW BETTER!!! Want a great prenatal video -- buy Shiva Rea on Gian simply titled "Prenatal Yoga." It's challenging, safe and effective.

Summary: Rocki is awesome
Review: I am lucky enough to live in L.A. so I went to Rocki's classes religiously when I was pregnant with my first baby and I credit the yoga with my easy labor & delivery, as well as feeling great during my pregnancy. Now that I have a toddler and am expecting baby #2, it is hard for me to get away for classes but the video is a great substitute (and much cheaper!)

Summary: A disappointment
Review: I am not a yoga expert but I have been doing it sporadically for about a year. I already had Shiva Rea's video when I got this and the difference is huge. Shiva has models in each trimester showing the specific modifications you need to make, and she not only shows but tells you how to do them. Everything flows and it's very relaxing. Rocki has lots of variously pregnant women who appear to be doing pretty much the same thing, and her suggestion for modification is "do what you feel is comfortable," which is fine, but not very concrete. I was uncomfortable that she demonstrated downward dog without modifications, since I have heard that your head shouldn't go beneath your waist. I found the repeated kegels boring- a few are fine, but it seemed like half her program focused on kegels. And the leg lifts were not relaxing. She goes too fast and practically counts cadence. I look for stretching and relaxation from yoga and this did not fit the bill.

Summary: Great for mind, body and soul
Review: I am not an avid yoga enthusiast and I'm in OK physical shape, so upon learning I was pregnant, I was determined to maintain my good health and enjoy my workouts. Rocki makes the routine safe, effective and challenging for all levels. I can't say enough about yoga during pregnancy! It truly benefits mind, body and soul. Rocki also reminds me that I'm doing yoga for the two us. This tape is informative, easy to follow and fun to do!

Summary: Helpful even before pregnancy
Review: I am planning on getting pregnant with my second child soon. Since I want to make sure to keep exercising while I'm pregnant again and heard yoga is not so hard on the joints, I thought I'd try this. I've never done yoga before, but Rocki is really good at explaining the poses. I think her voice is calming, too, which is helpful to concentrate on the moves and your breath. The first time I did this...I couldn't make it all the way through 'cause I was too tired out. But with a few more viewings I got the exercises down pat. So when I become pregnant again...I'll really know the workout well. I'm going to buy this video for my girlfriend who just found out she is pregnant!

Summary: Very good 3rd trimester workout!
Review: I bought this dvd to use during my 3rd trimester, when the elipse machine and stationary bike at the gym were becoming too difficult for my growing belly.

I have been in beginner yoga for a little over a year, practicing once a week at our local gym. So, I know the basics, but am still a beginner.

I recommend this dvd for someone who has some yoga experience. Rocki does a great job of providing variations on the poses, depending on how strong you feel on a particular day. The kegels in between exercises are also helpful.

Summary: Wow -- changed my mind from one pregnancy to the next
Review: I did the VHS version of this tape with my 1st pregnancy and didn't get into it. Don't know why, just didn't click with me (yes, the production values are simple, clean and basic, the room they work out in is not high glamour or anything, just a working yoga/mat room) -- so I didn't bother doing more than a couple of time. I guess I wanted something more slick and Hollywood and filled with model-like women and tons of advice on how to alter this if, shift this if, etc.

What a difference 19 months make! I am on my 2nd baby and LOVE THIS. Now that I know my pregnant body better, know what is to come, and what my body will really need during labour and with the baby after the birth, I now know that Rocki's is the best routine out there (I wrote a previous review for Shiva Rea's, which is still one of the best, but for me and this pregnancy Rocki is now my guru!)

Rocki is practical and knowlegable with just enough of spirited focus not to turn you off in either direction whether you are spiritual or not. She DOES give instructions for different levels -- just because the models are all in late stage, doesn't mean that women who have smaller belly bumps are ignored.

And there are everyday women going through all the exercises, probably real clients -- not currently pregnant dancers and acrobats who can do whatever is required without modification. Each of Rocki's models are your average pregnant woman, whom you'd see on the street with stretch marks, linea nigra, they have put on those extra pounds.... basically, they are just like me -- and probably just like you.

I think most women will benefit enormously from this routine.
