Southern Pacific and Santa Fe trains are both featured here. Filmed from Bakersfield to Mojave (with an average 2.3% grade) at all the famous locations including some that other producers deem as inaccessible. You will see 41 different trains including: Steel Coil Drags, Coal Drags, Sugar Beet Trains, The Oil Cans, High Priority Piggy-Backs, MOW Trains, The Swift Road-Railer Train and More. Not only will you see the railroads equipment you will also see the amazing terrain the trains are trying to conquer. You will view full trains, not just the locomotives. Filmed during all the seasons of the year, includes a couple snow scenes. Filmed around the time of the SP/UP merger and contains mostly Southern Pacific and Santa Fe powered trains.
