Summary: Extremely old and boring - Don't buy!!
Review: Don't buy this! I recently purchased this set, thank god I didn't pay full price! The videos have some real footage that makes you think about your own life, but most of the footage appears to be staged and is extremely old. Just before something happens the camera tends to looks away and comes back to show you somthing dead, but because you don't see it, it is easy to figure out that most of this is probably fake. Don't get me wrong, some of it is real and is sick, but it's not worth buying the whole set. Tape #5 & #6 contains some of the same footage from #3 and #4. Mostly shows dead animals from slaughter houses, cadavers, old police footage and is very slow. It's easy to see that many of the deaths are completely fake and were staged. Be prepared to fall asleep. It's not worth [price]! Spend your money on a something else, trust me!! Try buying one of the videos first (make sure it's not #1)and you'll see what I mean.

Summary: Faces of Death #4: A Product of Who's Imagination?
Review: I just finished watching Faces of Death #4. What really intrigues me about this video is the imagination of the people who created it. Who are the idiots who sat around thinking about a heavily weighted, multi-pronged piece of metal crushing a magician's head right before our very eyes? Who thought of the idea of the shaven-headed woman desperately clutching the wall in an effort to stave off going to the electric chair? Who are the authors? What kinds of personalities do they have? Do they take acid? Do they roll around in their offices laughing their heads off as they generate ideas for these videos? I would love to meet them, or at least to know more about them.

Summary: Less talk, more gore
Review: I remember watching this movie originally when I was a young man and I remembered how wild it was to watch that stuff. So here it is many, many years later and there was nothing new to hope for. I know that the original was very grainy and amateur to begin with but they should have put more footage or better special features. I was tremendously dissapointed. At least when I was young I didn't have to dish out money to watch this but now I did! Bummer!

Summary: Well, he's laughing at us!
Review: ...Ok let's talk about the film... first of all when you discovered that someone lied to you very often you'll never believe anything he says any more... and that's why I no more can believe anything I see in FOD... I mean everything turned to be lies, even the animal scenes! The only things that are true are the corpses and the morgue which to anybody who went to Medical School is part of his education!!! I gave it three stars as follows: 1 star for the creepy music + 1 star for starting such films trend + 1 star for a good lie! But if you really want to see something genuine and real go ahead and buy "Banned From Television" where everything is genuine! Where FOD focuses on bloody scenes due to the lack of accidents on tape, Banned From TV focuses on no blood but REAL accidents.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: Ok, I will admit that some of the movie comes off cheesie, but that is what makes them great. The first time I saw these movies I was disgusted, then again I was only 12 or so. Now I watch them and I think that they are the funniest things that I have ever seen. Well, everything except for that whole monkey part, that was just wrong. And as for another "critic", from Kansas, I don't know how you can condemn anybody for enjoying Faces of Death. It is a cult classic, making it a great piece of WORK for anybody who wants to be grossed out or amussed. I recomend this for anybody who live horror movies, cause in this movie, it is like all the gore rolled into one

Summary: Faces of Death is not entirely fake...
Review: I know the film has a reputation for containing reinactments and fake footage, but most of these reviewers slam it as if it all was fake. Not true. The autopsy, accident, and animal violence scenes were real. What's the point anyway? Why do people consider 'real death' films good anyway? How many of these people who get a perverted kick out of TRACES OF DEATH, DEATH SCENES, FACES OF GORE...or whatever would love to see their own mother (or anyone close to them) die in a grisly way? If your curious that's one thing but to say you love these kinds of films, whoa. I'm sorry but I'll stick to Fulci, Argento, Romero, Jackson for my gore. There is more creativity in their work (and I do call that work).

Summary: Man, I was Scared...
Review: that this movie would never end. This movie made me want to shoot myself in the face. Some of the dead bodies and stuff are real, but it's no more gruesome than that show about tornadoes I saw on Discovery the other night. Don't try to find another movie that's more realistic or w/ better death scenes, just save that money for Colt 45 and porn.

Review: this is the most abhorrent piece of crap that has ever been filmed. never have i seen the amount of useless trash that i have in this film. it is filled with boring narration and literally NO violence and NO gore. After hearing everyone talk about this video I figured it'd be great. I rented this video thinking that i would be disturbed or scared. Instead, I ended up feeling empty... bored... and a little poorer... if you want to do your deed for society... STOP talking about this video... and for god sakes... don't rent it.

Review: Call what you want to call it.Documentary or shockumentary.Actually,trashumentary more describes this shocker that was banned in almost fifty countries.Faces of Death will shock viewers,if they can't stand to see the violence this film dishes out.Don't get me wrong.I love violence in movies.But there's a line that I will not cross.Faces of Death is a line that I wish I never crossed.Faces of Death is more than a waste of time.It's pathetic.One more thing.Don't say you were never warned.
