Summary: This is the greatest!
Review: This probably the best documentry footage ever. The Nuclear Bomb Testing clips are be far, the best and highest quality. If you are interested in Nuclear devices, this is the one for you!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Informative, well-documented show
Review: The declassified video of the atomic bombs is simply amazing. Coupled with the great soundtrack it makes for a very awe-inspiring and scary portrayal of the awesome power of atomic weaponry.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Everything you never wanted to know about nuclear weapons
Review: This is an outstanding docoumentary, superior to anything else on the subject. It reveals things that were classified until very recently and gives the widest possible picture of the nuclear arms race. I thought I knew this subject well until I saw the documentary. Moreover, it's breathtaking to see how oddly beautiful these horrendous explosions were. You can literally feel the the excitement and wonder of the people who built them. Everyone should see this film, just to know what really happened in the fifties and sixties.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Exciting
Review: I thought that the movie was very interesting. The narration by William Shatner only added to the excitement.

Summary: Excellent but freightening
Review: Found the movie historically correct and interesting. But it was also freightening. Very good movie.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Frightening
Review: I only give it three stars because the content re-creates the fear that I grew up with during the cold war. The video is however unsurpassed on the horrors of the nuclear age to which I have seen. It deserves five stars but shouldn't be viewed by the faint of heart or those prone to shooting up schools.

Summary: A Documentary of Epic Proportions
Review: This superb documentary chronicles the U.S. nuclear arms race from the first atomic bomb at Alamogordo N.M. to the sixties. The real-life footage accurately conveys the awesome power and destruction of these unworldly weapons of destruction. The film is exceptionally well restored and edited. You'll see over a dozen different nuclear bomb tests. William Stromberg's excellent original soundtrack (with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra) lends a compelling sense of drama to the film. The soundtrack alone is a work of art. If you can only see one documentary about the nuclear arms race, this is the one. A must-see film for any serious student of history.

Summary: Very Intresting
Review: I saw this movie ind i couldn't believe the huge power of the atom bomb. Antother thing about this movie is the fact that there were so many atomic bombs blown up. This movie showed me that i would never want to get into a neuclear war. This movie is a MUST SEE

Summary: Just stunning !
Review: I always had a great interest in nuclear bombs and their testing. This movie is an awesome collection of all the kinds of atomic and hydrogen bomb explosions, which were made from 40's to 60's. My personal favourites are Baker(that huge column of radioactive water rising skyward from the lagoon!), Grable(A-bomb cannon) and Castle Bravo(cool music with the gigantic, flaming 15 Mt H-bomb mushroom penetrating the stratosphere). Ivy Mike also isn't too bad. I was a bit disappointed that Davy Crocket(nuclear grenade), some nuclear torpedoes and crater making experiments by underground explosions were not included into the movie. The music is awesome too !
