Review: I am a big fan of the show, and I liked this movie. The first time I saw it, I almost expected more, but as I watched it more and more times I realized things I didn't see the first time. It was wonderfully written, creatively put together, and just all-around awesome!

Summary: A Truly Great Movie
Review: To call this nothing more than an extra long EPISODE is I guess supposed to be something of a 'cut'. I dont understand why, because the episodes are classic. To say that this is nothing more than an episode with better special effects is supposed to be a 'cut', too, but again that makes no sense since the episodes are wonderful. A lot of people didnt like this movie and that is what really makes no sense, especially ones who supposedly are knowledgeable on the series. I think from reading the reviews below that its very easy to tell that many of these people are just pretenders. Fight the Future is one of the best movies I've seen for a few reasons. It is well directed, written, acted and executed. There are no poor performances in this movie. I guess if you want to nitpick this movie, you could find faults, but if we do that to the beloved Star Wars movies, they would be in shreds. In the years after the XFiles leaves TV, it may well be regarded as the finest SF series ever and one of the best drama, too. This movie belongs there. It is a masterpiece.

Summary: very good but not as good as expected
Review: This movie was very well written for the first X-Files movie. I do belive that it could have been much better. For one at the beginig of the movie they had Mulder and Scully playing pranks on each other? I mean "no" they would never do that in the series. Other than the fact that the characters didn't act alot like they did in the series it was a good movie and I recommend it to X-file fans only cause if your not your gonna have no idea whats going on.
