Summary: Long live VOYAGER
Review: I've watched Voyager from the begining back in 1995, and ever sense then, i've loved it, every episode i've seen has been a classic in my eyes (and in the eyes of some other fans). I've taped a few episodes but not all of them. Finally the last episode was aired and it was devestaing to me, but all good things must come to an end eventually. when the DVD Disc was released and companies started to put out there series on DVD i got really excited, especially sense Star trek THE NEXT GENERATION & Deep Space 9 seasons were appearing in stores, i thought sense Generation and Deep space 9 were being released, then Voyager must follow, but apparently that isnt the case... I would just like to say that Star trek Voyager is truly amazing, because it is diffrent from any of the other series. In Star trek, Star trek TNG, and DS9 all the captians were men, plus they all go on seperate missions on every show. Voyager on the other hand has a female captian, and the ship is strandid 60,000 lightyears across the galaxy in the delta quardrent, in unfamiliar space they dont know what they are going to run into or how they are going to get home...

Putting all the details about the show aside, i think it would make sense to bring out Voyager because it would be the final Star trek series currently out to date. Also people who like all the series, can add this one and the others to there DVD Collection.

Thank you for your time.

LONG LIVE VOYAGER.

Summary: The "Best of Show"
Review: Star Trek Voyager should be released on DVD. From it's majestic musical overture to it's fascinating character developments, it truly was a great series that I'd like to see over and over again. In many ways it was original and warm, didn't really turn in any dark episodes (like DS9 did) in any of the years it was shown. The best part of the whole series was that it wrapped up in an elegant fashion in the final episode. Having owned all of the voyager books, I would really like to add the DVD collection on my shelves.

Summary: Voyager DVD
Review: I fell in love with Voyager years ago. I found that a woman captain brought more to the show. She wasn't just some big bad handle anything person. She is emotional wihtout losing sight of her mission. She cares about her crew and shows it in many different ways.

I have recently replaced all of my VHS tapes with DVD's, because you get a clearer picture and much better options. I like having the ability to jump from scene to scene without having to wait for a tape tp rewind. If the other Star Trek's are on DVD, then why discriminate with this one. I would like every episode on DVD, and as soon as they come out I WILL buy them!

Summary: Janeway should have stuck to science in the classroom.
Review: As a captain of a starship, she sucked. For seven years all we heard was ""Evasive maneuver beta 3" Evasive maneuver alpha 2" etc. etc. The ship was boarded and taken over more times than I could count and they were always running from someone. They would be getting shot all to hell, but Janeway would hold her fire. This was crap. Sure, this stuff happened in the other series also. But not even close to the number of times it happened with Voyager. And to add to this comedy, this was suppose to be a "powerful" starship. This series was for the most part a joke.

It was not the actors fault. This series was plagued with bad writing. The characters themselves were good. But, the vast majority of scripts that were written for this show were not even good enough to use as toilet paper.

Summary: It's Time to Bring Them Home on DVD
Review: I too, have been waiting for Voyager to come out on DVD. I don't understand why it has been passed over, for so long.
Until recently, I had the pleasure of being able to watch it Monday through Friday, on a local station, but they took it off their lineup. It was actually heartbreaking.
Have considered buying the VHS versions, but I keep holding out with the hope that they soon will be on DVD.
If they...no make that WHEN they come out on DVD, I plan on buying the complete series. Until then...

Summary: PLEASE release Voyager on DvD
Review: Voyager has become my absolute favorite show of all time. I would never call myself obsessed (as I haven't gotten that way over media since I was a teenager), but I can't get enough of Voyager. I grew up on TNG and was a fan, but when I saw Voyager I fell in love with the crew. It had a much more personal and informal feeling compared to past Star Treks. I feel very close and connected to the characters when I watch them and I always feel sad when the credits begin to roll because I don't want to leave them.

What's so enthralling about Voyager is that it had a focus plot for the entire duration of its run which really made me feel like I was striving towards a common goal with the crew as opposed TNG where most the episodes were seperate adventures (which Voyager had too, but while maintaining the same objective at the end of the day). I'm glad that Enterprise is taking this cue from Voyager and having a focus plot (for at least a season). That's what's going to keep viewers coming back every week (and Enterprise could use all the help it can get in the plot department).

Although there are Star Trek fans out there who snub Voyager for straying from the path of past Star Treks and having a largely dominant female crew (although the men out weigh the women in numbers), but the female characters were so strong and well done with such character that they often outshone the male crew members (not to say I don't like the men too). At first Janeway got on my nerves because I thought they were making her like every other boring female in power who is trying to make it in a man's world, but I grew to see her sensitivity, ambition, strength, persistence, compassion, and noble leadership skills (this was largely due to Kate Mulgrew's excellent portrayal of the character).

I think Voyager is probably the only television show I would absolutely have to own on DvD. I really hope it doesn't get overlooked and that it will get put out soon. I will be rushing to my computer to click buy as soon as it does!

Summary: Star Tek: Voyager
Review: I think that Star Trek: Voyager was the second best Star Trek series right behind of TNG. I think that the way the crew was put toghether i.e. Tom Paris (ex-convict), the Maquis, and the crew added from the Delta quadrant was really exceptional, because it showed how the crew was ready to accept all people into there crew including the all evil BORG!!! I also think the way the crew over came adversity without violating the Prime Directive was really awesome because, they done everything they could to get home.

I would really enjoy to see this come out on DVD because I think that a lot of people would buy this because I know I would because I stayed up to 3:00 a.m. every morning just so I could watch the next so I was kept up on what was going on in the series witout missing anything in the series.

Summary: Borg madness !!!
Review: I have been watching "The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" like I was nailed to the chair... However, I never got to watch Voyager. When Activision released the "Voyager Elite Force" game, I got an idea of the story around USS Voyager, and though it feels kind of separated from the "known" Star Trek universe, it was really interesting. I must admit that the character which captured my attention and admiration was "Seven of Nine", and she is actually the reason I am on the lookout for a "Voyager" DVD! Well, why is it not released yet...?

Summary: Star Trek Voyager - Can Wait
Review: For those who are relatively new to the Star Trek universe,
Star Trek - Voyager may seem a little bit puzzling. If you
aren't already familiar with the United Federation of Planets,
what its role is, and what Starfleet is all about, this series
doesn't explain a lot; who the main characters are and why
there is tension between the crewmembers who are "Maquis" as
opposed to crewmembers who are Starfleet officers for example.

To really enjoy this series, especially the first season, one
must have seen early seasons of ST:Deep Space Nine or later
seasons of ST: The Next Generation. If you are a fan of Kate
Mulgrew, the actress, you should try watching this show. She
really fits in the captain's chair. Another actor who really
steals the show is Robert Picardo, who plays a holographic
doctor. Humor and wit are provided by Ethan Phillips, who plays
an alien trying to "fit in" and is the ship's cook. Yes, a
Star Trek vessel that has to rely on actual cooking since

replicators use up valuable resources that need to be rationed.

Personally, my favorite Star Trek series was Deep Space Nine.
The series was well-written, acting superb, comaraderie between
cast members was excellent. (They really seemed to *relish*
coming to work every day.) The humor was well-placed and not
cliche. And people made mistakes. Lots of them. The series
was emotionally satisfying, and the characters seemed *real*.
It had depth as well as some great story lines.

With Voyager, it just went on and on sometimes. Since the show
was based on a "Homeward Bound" sort of theme, I believe the
series went on a little too long with that theme. Anyway, I
can't afford Voyager until at least May, 2004 with Deep Space
Nine eating a hole in my wallet. I hope they wait to release it.

Summary: Come on, come on, come onnnn....
Review: I never liked Star Trek until Voyager came along, i love the entire crew, specially Captain Janeway and Seven. I find the series very imaginative..yet in a way realistic and definitely brilliant, unfortunately i missed alot of episodes so the DVD will come in handy not only to see the ones i missed but just to see them again!
