Summary: Fine Trek
Review: Star Trek VI abandons the cutesy humor of the previous two films, wisely returning the series to its serious roots. Kirk and crew are swept into a Cold War game of cat-and-mouse when the Klingon emissary they're assigned to protect is assassinated. Along the way, Kirk must confront his anti-Klingon racism, while Spock faces personal challenges of his own. Darker in tone (revealed particularly well through Cliff Eidelman's effective Batman-like score) and genuinely suspenseful, the film suffers only from a sense of failed grandeur--we keep expecting to see great battlefleets that never materialize. Director Meyer's characteristic anachronisms abound--the crew sleeping in WWII-style bunkbeds; an actual galley aboard ship--but he keeps the pace right, and sexy Cattrall and Iman are welcome additions. This is the last Trek featuring all of the original crew, delivered on a DVD that looks and sounds good.

Summary: Fantastic Star Trek movie
Review: Star Trek VI:The Undiscovered Country is my favorite of all the Star Trek movies. The Klingon empire is dying and Kirk (who hates the Klingons)is supposed to meet the Klingon chancellor to discuss dissarmament. The Klingons dine on board the Enterprise, and when they beam back to their own ship, two Enterprise crew members beam aboard their ship to assasinate the chancellor.Kirk and McCoy get charged with his murder, and then the film turns into an excellent whodunit as Spock and the Enterprise crew try to prove Kirk and McCoy's Innocence, and find the real assasins. The movie had excellent special effects(they went back to ILM after not using them in Star Trek V,and the effects in that film weren't very good),and a good musical score. This was the original Enterprise crew's last film(with the exception of Kirk,Chekov, and Scotty ,who appeared in Star Trek:Generations),and it was the perfect way to go out.

Summary: Good but not Great
Review: "Star Trek VI" is a good solid movie. It is not however a great one. While an improvement over Trek V, I think many people saw this entry as a return to the glorious days of Treks II,III, and IV. This film delivers what you come to expect from Star Trek, space action, interesting effects, good banter and a Klingon conspiracy. It's all good stuff, we've just seen it all before. This time the fun seems routine.

What is distressing here is everything is constructed to be the last classic Trek adventure. Why? The box office was still strong, even stronger than two of Next Gen's offerings. What is sad is that Kirk, Spock and the gang are being brushed aside for the adventures of a younger crew. Well at least they did it with some style. The last line of Star Trek VI brings the classic Trek series to an appropriate end.

Summary: THE BEST TREK YET!
Review: This is, by far, the best STAR TREK film to date, blending Science Fiction, Drama, Murder Mystery, and Shakespeare into a true masterpiece. The visual effects are some of the best the TREK films have to offer (coming off of the "Ooh, look at the MODEL!" visual effects of STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER). The story line and plot are spectacular, and the battle scene at the end of the film is marvelous. STAR TREK fans and non-TREK- fans will love this breathtaking movie. Grade: A+

Summary: The Let Them Die Syndrome
Review: Ever wanted to see the Cold War done in sci-fi?

Now you can.

And it's quite good, really.

Summary: Exclent movie, with a few flaws
Review: This is probably my favorite Star Trek Film, The only problem is Chechov is cast as some what of an idiot, Although Kirk, Spock and McCoy are Excelent, makes up for Star Trek V, Christopher Plummer plays an Excelent Klingon his perfect performance enhances the movie nicely(Check him out in Interplays new game Klingon Academy, a prequil to ST VI).Sulu comes out off his shell as Captain of the excecier, It's too bad we can't see more of him in action.

The movie runs smoothly and keeps your heart racing up untill the climatic battle at the end of the movie, The simularity to the cold war is gripping. Over all a good movie.

Summary: Star Trek VI
Review: This is THE best star trek movie I have ever seen. I've seen all 9 films and Star Trek 6 is definently the greatest along with First Contact and Insurrection. It has a great plot, awesome special effects, (Note that Star Trek 6 was made the same year "Terminator 2" came out, which revolutionized on-screen effects) and excellent acting all around. The ending action-sequence is very cool... (Maybe should have gotten an R-rating just for that part) So if you don't have Star Trek VI yet, I suggest you add it to your star trek movie collection today!

Summary: go kirk go
Review: i think kirk and crew are great at what they do

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great movie. A bit boring at times.
Review: I loved this movie. It's ST duh. Well anyway, this was the final mission of the Enterprise-A and I got to say that I was impressed. Peace between the Klingons and Federation. Who would of thunk?

Sulu has his own command. Shakspeare was Klingon? And somebody doesn't want peace. Who would of thunk? Yes that's right. Somebody has gone and murdered the Klingon Ambassador and Kirk is framed. After that the crew has to go and try to find the real killer. You'd be surprized at who it really is... or maybe not, but it is still a fun movie to watch.

I give this movie *downs four bottles of Romulan Ale* four stars because the conversing at the table about shakespeare was really dull and the prison part was kind of dull.
