Review: This was one of the best movies that I have ever had the opportunity to see! The acting was of the best caliber seen in years and so was the direction of Peter Jackson. I hope I live to see the last two installments and experience the wonder that I know they will both be. A movie like this is why I like movies in first place. The telling of the story, the passion shown by all involved and the splendor of seeing a world (unreal to us) but one that seemed as real as the one we are in today. If there is ever another epic story to be told, I think Peter Jackson should tell it. He is excellent. Wow, what vision!!!

IT IS ABOUT WIZARDS AND FROODO A YOUNG WIZARD WHO HAS A MAGIC WEDDING RING THAT HIM AND THE OATHER WIZARDS LIKE. THIS MOVIE SAVED MY LIFE AS I WAS OVERWEIGHT, AND IT GAVE ME THE STRENGHT TO LOSE 4 POUNDS. FIVE STARS. GOOD JOB PETER JAKSOON. GOOD MOVIE.

Summary: Better than theatrical version!
Review: This was really much more elaborate than the theatrical version. There are only 30 minutes of extra footage, but it seems a lot longer. And so much detail was added.I really felt that the theatrical version did not do Aragorn justice. He was simply there - he served the function of fighter and leader, and the only glimpses of his personality and history we see is his few moments with Arwen. In the extended edition more details are given about Aragorn's history and background, as well as his relationship with Arwen with references to a similar romance between two of his ancestors (Luthien and Beren, for those who have read the book). More of the relationship between Legolas and Gimli are revealed, and they are less flat as characters than before. In particular, this movie showed the interaction between Gimli and Galadriel, as well as the gift-giving at Lothlorien. Extended fight scenes. Oh, and a few minor characters that were left out in the theatrical version also make small cameos. :)

Review: This was released the 12th and I watched it that night with friends. The added and extended scenes are fantastic. If you have enjoyed the book and the movie, just wait until you see this edition!

Review: This was the best film that I saw at the theatre last year. Peter Jackson directed this film perfectly; using the right cast and locations and sticking to the actual story. The action scenes in this film are some the best that I've seen. Well worth your money.

Review: This was the best movie I have ever seen! Not only was the cinematography incredible, the characters were so wonderfly casted, and the plot was so action-packed! You were sitting on the edge of youre seat the whole movie! You cheered with the characters triumphs, you cried when the character was hurt or lost. Enchanting, amazing, incredible, astounding, truly one of a kind.

I am a huge fan of the books and of tolkien.Not only has the movie done Tolkien justice,it has done justice to the art of filmmaking.
Everything within this movie was perfect! I feel this Trilogy will go down in history along with the original Star Wars Trilogy,as the best series of movies ever created.
