Summary: An Incredible Achievement
Review: I've been to this movie twice, and both times were marvelous. I thought it would be all right like the first, but the special effects and character development greatly surprised me. It's more gory but more interesting. A critical step in the relationship between mutants (evolving humans) and humans is beginning.

Wolverine begins to find clues about his past. Rouge and Iceman are dating and have rather minor roles. We see anger and prejudice on both sides. New characters are in this one. Two examples are a woman with spiked nails, and a teleporting blue man called Nightcrawler.

Nightcrawler has the best stunts in the movie. Under the influence of the villian's "Persausive" methods, he beats the president's guards and tried to stab the president. Nightcralwer is the most lovable charcter in the movie. He shows a positive outlook on life and other people.

Magneto escapes and is even "nastier preciouss" than in the first Xmen movie.
Both humanity and the mutants are in danger of being wiped out. It's up to the X-men to save both peoples.

This movie has action, humour, and deep meaningful messages. This movie is better than I have described. If you know a good movie, you'll like this.

Summary: BEST ONE YET
Review: I saw X2 on opening day and expected to see an ordianary action movie but after seeing X2, I have a new favorite movie of all time right under The Matrix Reloaded. I could hardly beleive that X2 turned out to be so good. If you havent seen X2 you havent seen an action movie. Plus, the two hottest women in the world, Famke Janssen(Jean Grey) and Halley Berry(Storm). I left the movie theater with the biggest crush on Famke Janssen. I think I'm going to propose to her.

Summary: Long and slow, with a few good moments
Review: I thought X-Men #1 was the best of the comic book movies but X2 lacks the pacing, suspense and drama of the first, so it seems to go on forever. Add the...German character and all that's left is the wonderful exchanges between Patrick Stewart and a the truly wonderful Ian McKinnon. I could watch those two play chess for 2 hours but the others are a yawn. Femke does look almost exactly like a young Stephanie Powers which is interesting.

Summary: X-Men 2: X-Men is the Best
Review: The new X-Men movie was so awesome! It deserves 5 stars and could almost beat Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter in the greatest movies!
The movie begins where the last one left off...Magneto in his plastic prison and Professor Xavier at the school of mutants. But this time, a mutant-hater named William Stryker is arranging attacks to prove that we should kill mutants, and this heats both Magneto and Xavier up. So what do they do? They join forces and fight with the other X-Men against Stryker and while doing so escape an exploded dam and fly away from F-16's.
If you don't think the movie sounds good, well, the stars of the movie are great, especially Shawn Ashmore and Anna Paquin. Are you going to see it? I highly recommend it, and it is defiently worth 5 dollars anyday!

Summary: So new X-men New stuff to know.
Review: This movie shall prove no point and I intend it to stay that way but...there is great action and stuuf and many people think that it was boring but no it wasn't. I have to say that there will be a part three by how it ended. So Rogue and Bobby kissed but it didn't last long. I like all the acting and the plot. Well that is all good bye.

Summary: better than the first
Review: Bryan Singer ciomes out with a more action packed keeping you to seat edge movie.
A must for both X-men fans and not-so-fans.
The movie starts of with a fantastic opening by nightcrawler which will get your adrenil rising!!
This time the director has featured more and more mutants and better CG effects.
The previous movie moved a little slower and sometimes in between you feel like fast forwarding it. Well that not the case with this one.
You keep asking for more and more and more.
You will meet most of the mutants in this one and get to see their disply of powers.
The plot is based on a military person named stryker who wants to eliminate all the mutants from the world (somewhat like magneto who wants all humans out of this world).
Hugh Jackman plays the role of wolverine fantasicaly. Looks like he's born to play wolverine.
Helle Berry didn't get much oppertunity to show her skills (like the last movie).
Nightcrawler's character is really coool in this movie. The 8 hours of makeup was worth all the effort and time.
Overall a good movie as for the acting/direction/special effects and the story line goes.
After all the action is over.. the movie becomes a little drag in the end but that was only for 10 mins....
So friends..go ahead... watch the movie...hope you enjoy it too.

Summary: X2: X-Men United Rocks!
Review: This movie was totally awesome. I think every Marvel fan should see this movie! Every actor and actress in this movie from the first movie or not was great. My favorite character in this movie was, of course, Wolverine and Deathstrike. Wolverine or Logan (Played by Hugh Jackman) was an awesome character and portrayed his character well. Next is Deathstrike, or Yuriko Oyama (played by Kelly Hu). She is SO AWESOME! This movie is jamp packed with action and drama! That is just perfect! Every person in the WORLD should see this, because I know they will enjoy it. Everyone in this movie is totally awesome:
Jean Grey (Famke Jannsen)
Rogue (Anna Paquin)
Storm (Halle Berry)
Cyclops
Mystique (Rebecca Romijn Stamos)
Magneto
Professor X
Pyro
and Bobby Drake, or Iceman, are in this movie. And, to finish off this review: NIGHTCRAWLER (played by Alan Cumming). He was totally cool! He had an awesome role and a cool costume! He was my favorite character besides Logan and Deathstrike. Whether your age is 9 to 99 you'll defnitely enjoy this movie.

Summary: Better than the first!
Review: [...]P>It sure looks as if "X2" is on the right track for a sequel, and if anything, it seems better. The budget is obviously bigger as we see the truly amazing special effects in the beginning of the film, and though the action never quite again reaches its high-point as in the beginning, it sets the film up for other non-stop action sequences, just like the James Bond movies are known for doing.

But that's not all "X-Men 2," or "X2" as the posters abbreviate, is all about. It has an important human element that adds to the pure, non-stop, full-blooded action-spectaculars throughout the film. The cast is bigger, the budget is bigger, the story is bigger, and the action is plentiful. Teenagers will enjoy the action side, and adults will probably enjoy the human side to the story. It seamlessly combines both these two elements/techniques even more than the original film did. I didn't expect to enjoy this film more than the first, but I must say I did.

It reunites the old cast for a continuation of the struggle for mutants and humans to live together in the same world.

[...] "X-Men" was an excellent comic-book adaptation, in more ways than one, and "X-Men 2" is only better. It contains more action than "Spider-Man" and its human factor is even more active than it was in the original, which is ironic, since the original was praised for having both action and human attributes.

The cast is first-class, but the real scene-stealer, just like in the original, is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The Aussie actor disguises his accent with a rough American one, just like British chap Bob Hoskins did in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". If the filmmakers want a new James Bond after Pierce Brosnan, they need look no farther, because though he may not look the part in this film, Jackman can look very suave and proper (see "Kate and Leopold"), and is my top choice for the next Bond.

Comic book films are usually hit-or-miss. They're never in between. "X-Men" was an unexpected hit, but more than that, a good unexpected hit. It wasn't all hype. It was smart, action-packed and hat a great character side to it. Like I said before, "X-Men 2" improves upon all this and is the rare sequel that is better than its predecessor.

I expect "X-Men 2" to break some box office records, and unlike other films, I can honestly say that it deserves it.

Summary: Best comic book adaptation ever
Review: Wonderfully entertaining on every level, "X2"works as an action film, a political thriller, and a surprisingly moving romance. It also has a beautifully controlled subtext about "otherness" which drives some exquisitely accurate skewers right through the heartless chest of the current US administration. Singer and his crew have managed something that few comic book adaptations even strive for, let alone achieve: they've taken the source material and made it resonate for a new audience in a new age. They show us how good an effects-intensive film can and should be. Beyond the sheer delight of digital imagery and fight sequences, Singer has clearly expended just as much effort on ensuring that the story is engaging and works as a film narrative and not just as two hours of eye candy. He doesn't make the mistake of staking his film's whole appeal on a few elaborate, digitized set pieces which are entirely revealed by the trailer. "X2" confirms his place among the truly interesting directors working today (go back and look at the unfairly neglected "Apt Pupil" - his work there is superb, as is McKellen's). Singer's talent for balancing spectacle, story and sentiment makes me wonder what he could have done with the "Star Wars" prequels - two films which fail on every one of those counts.
