Summary: FINALLY THE APES ON DVD!
Review: thank god the apes are now on DVD. I thought it would take much longer because I thorught they would be stubborn about it and subject me to the poor quality of VHS. Buy this boxed set while it lasts because if you don't buy movies of this callaber on DVD you will regret it!

Summary: Planet of the Apes Collection
Review: The first Planet of the Apes is the second best science fiction movie ever made, only behind ET. If you loved the first one like I did, then the other four should be worth while seeing. They are all very good, though none quite as good as the original. These movies are intellectual with great story lines and they have very good action and acting.

Summary: Astounding!
Review: The first film deserves a full five stars but I'm giving the series four because the sequels should get three (the last four are very entertaining but flawed in many aspects). But it is still very intriguing to see how the writers went from one movie to the next from scratch and made a perfectly wound story! Sci-fi fans shouldn't miss this incredible series! A must buy.

Summary: My favorite Apes movie!
Review: This is my favorite Apes movie! Now stop laughing and just read for a minute. I think Claude Adkins was an excellent choice to play Aldo. I think only the actor who played Ursus in the 2nd film was a better "lead gorilla" :-) This film has the most action of any of the films. I think another thing for me is the similarities to the movie The Road Warrior (which is in my top 5 all time movies). The awesome square off at the end between some apes and a bunch of 70 year old warriors fronting an assault with a school bus as their main combat vehicle is EXTREMELY Road Warriorish....and I love watching this movie everytime!! Another of my favorite characters is the guy who tries talking the governor out of fightning.... "A destroys B, B destroys C who is then destroyed by A"...and "Why govenor??!!! Why????"

Summary: The worst!!!!
Review: As a child growing up in the height of "Ape Movies", I looked forward to seeing this movie. I fell asleep half way through it. I've seen it a couple more times in the past 15 years to see what I missed, and I still find it just as boring.Remember, with every ape movie released, their budget became smaller and smaller.(Those tightwads!!8^D)"Introducing Paul Williams". He made his mark in movies! Remember "Love Boat"? Need I say more?

Summary: Excellent entertainment
Review: A very good series of movies which entertain greatly. I spent £30:00 on this collection and do not regret spending on penny of it. It is only spoiled by the last film " Battle.." but apart from that the series is a must purchase for all sci-fi fans.

Summary: Awesome, The perfect gift!
Review: The Planet of the Apes is a great gift to someone who loves it. With a price so low, about $5 a tape, you can't beat it! I for one recommend this series of movies.

Summary: The Worst of the Series!!!
Review: The final movie in the panthanon isn't what one might expect. In fact, it's about 100,000 times worse. This is perhaps one of the worst movies I have ever fallen victim to the extent of watching. I'm sorry this is in the APE series. It deserves to be a lost movie, like "Farewell to the Planet of the Apes" was. That's right, this film was extracted from the series on the basis that it was bloody terrible!!! That is all that should be said as regards this hahrrible film!!
