Summary: The best I've seen
Review: The Fellowship Of The Rings is the best movie I have seen in my life. I especially liked Aragon. His character was so heroic. I liked the orcs just as well. They were so scary. I liked the part when the fire demon was chasing them. It was kind of sad because Gandalf falls off the bridge. But in the second movie I think he comes back. I recomend this movie to people who like scary action movies. I can't wait untill December to see the second movie,The Two Towers.

Summary: Not enough...
Review: Yes, the movie was great... lots of good effects and all that; But the whole tale felt very rushed... (though, you might too if chased by myriad nazgul.) NEVERTHELESS, More waiting should have occured prior to the making of this film... it simply doesn't quite meet the standards set by the books. I'll buy this movie and all its sequels... but I may always be holding out for a remake... say, in about 2043 when they'll project the films right into your head for first-person perspectives... and all that.

Review: This movie is dark, but has excelent visual effects. Even if you haven't read the books, you can clearly understand the plot. A MUST SEE! The rating is well deserved, though. No nudity, but lots of violence and gore.

Review: Having read the books when I was a teenager, this was a long time in coming on film, but I don't think they could have done it justice if they had tried in the 70's. The cast, special effects, sets, heck most everything was superb! The spirit of the novels were there and I wanted to see more even after sitting there for 3 hours. Can't wait to see the next installment!!

Summary: Best Movie Ever
Review: this movie was absolutly one of the best i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot). The casting was incredible and the scenery was breathtaking. I wasn't actually going to read the book but after my brother convinced me to see the movie i knew i just had to check it out. I went to see the movie about three times and would have gone more but my parents said 3 was enuff. i actually had an argument over the phone with the people who work at the movie theater cuz they said thay weren't gonna bring it back. AARRGG!!! the movie is rated PG-13 cuz of the violence but during the battles u can barely see what's going on. there are a couple of scenes where you see someone's head flying off (nobody important tho). The movie could have been a thousand times longer and i wouldn't have cared. all in all it was excellent. the only problems i had with it was that it was too short and the ending is such a CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!! i hated it! when the credits started coming up i was like "but wait, u can't just end it there!!" anywayz.... the movie was excellent and u have to go see it.

Summary: The Best
Review: The Lord of the Rings movie is great. The actors were great and the battle parts were great. The hobbits were done perfect and the orcs were done so well one would think that they were real. This movie was done just right except for one thing, they left the Barrowdowns out and enlarged Arwen's parts, but I don't care. My only regret is that Legolas (my faverit person) didn't say very much, but I suppose that is for the best, after all he is an Elf and they never say very much I suppose. Aragorn and the rest were done great....

Review: Even if you haven't read the book, definitly a great epic story.
Far greater than the star wars films and their predictable, dumbed-down stories. Seeing this movie may encourage to read the book series, which Tolkein wrote as detailed histories of his fantasy world. Can't wait for the DVD and parts 2 and 3.

Summary: Masterpiece
Review: I have seen the movie before reading the books. This movie is indeed a masterpiece. I must agree with most of the viewers that most of us want more after three hours of the first movie. Three hours was about right although most of the people who has read the book want more. Some of the viewers dislike it and feel bored with it since they do not love fantasy movie in the first place. So my advice to those people, do not intend to watch it just because most of the people do and because it is a blockbuster movie. You might end up in giving bad review which to most of the people might not be true. I have read the book afterwards and I must say that Peter Jackson really done a great job in making the legend comes to life. All of the people involve in this movie deserve thumbs up. Even if this movie did not win some of the world award, I believe this movie has won many heart of the viewers.

Review: Wow, I saw the film and just had to see it again.
i am 13 yrs old and have read all the books and even though they are better than the film, the film is still an amazing 5 star!When I saw I must say Legolas was a slight distraction with his amazing good looks and archery skills.
Aragorn is also a pretty good swordsman and i think frodo was glad of that as well. The film is cast extremely well as each person just seems to fit almost exactly with who they play.
The scenery is fantastic it's like it's just come straight out of tolkien's imagination.
The special effects (especially at Bilbo's party) were almost magical.
So if you're gonna see a film see Lord of the Rings
