Summary: DVD is illegal
Review: As what James Ballard and others have said, indeed, this is 100% unauthorized. The website Kaijuonline.com had contacted Toho to confirm if the rights are held. Kaijuonline had learned that they are not. Do not buy this DVD. It's a scam. Listen to the reviewers. They are 100% right. I'd give this DVD a 0 out of 5 if 0 was the minimum. No special features. No nothing either. DO NOT BUY.

Summary: another crap-ass unlegit release from CineVu...
Review: Avoid this DVD, it is from the same people who released the unlegit poor quality DVD-R bootleg of "Ghidrah the three Headed Monster".

Classic Media owns the rights to "Godzilla vs. Mothra". CineVu is not only violating Toho's copyright, but also Classic Media's rights holdings of this movie.

I'd recommend hunting down the now out of print widescreen DVD of Godzilla vs. Mothra from Simitar, or wait until Classic Media rereleases their own widescreen DVD.

Summary: An ILLEGAL DVD-R from CineVu
Review: That's right, this is not a legitamate release. Far from it; this is a BOOTLEG DVD-R from the idiots who just recently gave us a bootleg "Ghidra, the Three-Headed Monster" which also SUCKED. Do NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE RIPPED OFF BY BUYING THESE. THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND THEY SUCK.

Review: This is an illegal bootleg and an extremely poor bootleg at that! Avoid at all cost!

Summary: Illegal
Review: Whether this is 1964's "Mothra vs. Godzilla" (aka "Godzilla vs. The Thing", "Mosura tai Gojira"), or 1992's "Godzilla vs. Mothra" (aka "Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth", "Gojira tai Mosura") the US rights are held by Classic Media and Sony Pictures respectively, not the mysterious CineVu.

If this follows the trend of CineVu's release of "Ghidra The Three Headed Monster" (even misspelling "Ghidrah" as "Ghidra", and later misspelling it elsewhere on the cover as "Ghridra") then expect a disgusting VHS transfer lacking in colors and abundant with scratches, hairs and other such print damage, piled onto a badly encoded DVD-R with cheap home made labels.

100% illegal, and from what I understand Toho's LA office is currently investigating.
