Summary: Okay, but not great.
Review: I love Godzilla. Always have, always will. This, however, is tied for the worst movie all time with Son of Godzilla and Godzilla's Revenge, which has very little Godzilla in it( no pun intended) and ironically has nothing to do with revenge.

Godzilla once again saves the world from a ridiculous race of undersea people, the "Seatopians", who, suffice it to say, dislike Japan very much. They summon their cockroach-god thing, Megalon, and use an Ultraman rip-off, Jet-Jaguar, as a control device. Hilarity ensues. The Japanese inventors of Jet-Jaguar re-hijack it from the seatopians and send it to fetch Godzilla, who apparently understands the robot's poor attempt at sign langauge. In the meantime, Megalon is running Amok without guidance, which I don't understand why this is a problem. I mean, He's supposed to mess up Japan, right? Besides, what kind of "god" needs to, or even can be, contolled. Anyway, most of the Megalon sequence is stock footage from Destroy all Monsters and War of the Gargantuas, which explains why you can see Gaira's feet when Megalon is knocked down.

Yadda yadda yadda. The Seatopians call Gigan to help out(as if he was that successful in his own movie, even with the help of a real monster, King Ghidora),Godzilla fights Megalon and Gigan with the help of bootleg Ultraman, who somehow defies the laws of physics by growing to full Kaiju size. They fight very poorly, but someone has to win. Kinda like watching the Miami Dolphins play the San Francisco 49ers. Afterward, Jet-Jaguar returns to his own size, and the control of his creators. All the horrible actors and robot wave goodbye to Godzilla, who waves back, then they stroll into the sunset as the worst song ever written by anyone other than Sugar Ray is played(Punch! Punch! Punch!). Fade to black.
Its upsetting that this dvd is a bootleg, but the film is public domain, so that's that. By the way, the Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster DVD is bootleg also. Good luck watching it with a straight face.

Summary: Great Film, But It's A Bootleg
Review: A question needs to be asked: Why would such a respectable company like Amazon carry a bootleg? It boggles my mind.
Anyways, the film itself is a great film. But with it being a bootleg, the picture is sloppy and off-centered a tad. I, unfortunately bought this off of eBay not knowing at the time it was a bootleg. When I received it, I realized it was. Do not buy this film for the fact you are supporting a company which didn't have any authorization by Toho to produce this film onto DVD. I hope Amazon will take this down and that Passion Productions gets sued big time!

Summary: The best Godzilla movie ever!
Review: All I have heard from people is that this is the worst Godzilla movie ever? Are you guys thinking logically? First of all Jet Jaguar is introduced and by no means is a copy of Ultraman. I think TOHo was trying to connevt to that decades outburst of super robots like Mazinger,Gaiking, and getter Robot G on the anime side. The concept and storyline of Jet Jaguar are great! I havent seen this movie in over 20 years and after watching it last night it rekindled the greatness of Godzilla in my life! I love the fact that Jet Jaguar adapted to grow to KAIJU size! Cmon guys this is the imaginative age of Godzilla. Obviously the mid 70's Godzilla's were geared to children. I love the fact that the Seatopians called upon Gigan for help! This movie was intended to be a tag team event and it worked out brilliantly! I love it when Jet Jaguar was sent to retrieve Godzilla from Monster island to fight Megalon and Gigan. Jet Jaguar steals the show and I Marinos Marathias proclaim this the best Godzilla movie of all and anytime! Bravo!

Summary: Collectors only! Even then beware!
Review: No, this is not the best Gojira movie out there. If you are a die hard fan like me then you want all of Gojira's movies. Beware, however, of the Passion Productions release of this movie. Probably one of the worst DVD transfers ever. I own a better copy on VHS that I taped off of the Sci-fi channel a few years back. It really seems as if this transfer was taken off of a 16mm print that had spent a few years in the garage. However it is one of the most difficult titles to find (even on an auction website) on DVD, so for the sake of completion, get it. Just be warned it's not a good print.

Summary: The Best Worst Movie Ever
Review: This movie is really, really bad. But it is also really, really funny. How could someone watch this movie and not be cracking up the whole time? A toy airplane to the face? Godzilla sliding on his tail to deliver drop-kicks? How about Jet Jaguar breaking Gigan's arm on his knee? Or Godzilla's sissy leap into the water and his subsequent half hour journey to the battle? Is there anything about this movie that isn't amazingly funny?

This movie is absolutely worth purchasing. It is too funny to imagine.

Summary: Godzilla hits a all time low
Review: Well, nuff said. Godzilla is afraid to walk through fire and actually shakes hands with is tag team partner. Also thinks he is Bruce Lee. Doesnt get any worse than this! Avoid it unless you are a diehard fan.
