Rating: Summary: Enterprise puts Star Trek back on track Review: Enterprise is great, Deep Space 9 and Voyager where just gimmick series, but Enterprise puts Star Trek back on track. It seems to have the feel of the original series, but combined with the technology of today, so I guess you could say Enterprise is a cross between Star Trek and Star Trek The Next Generation, which would be majorly cool, which Enterprise is!Enterprise puts a fourth to my opinion of the greatest Sci-Fi series' of all time. First is Star Trek, than Star Trek The Next Generation, than Babylon 5, and now Enterprise. About my comment about Enterpise being similer to Star Trek, Enterpise seems to have used Star Trek as a model.Ok, Archer is no Kirk but T'pol is pretty much the female version of Spock and Trip is veriation of Scotty,Instead of a background in Scotland he has a backgroumd in Sourthern North America with pretty much the same acsent intencity and home spun wisdom,Travis and Chekov are fairly similer as far as how young, inexperienced, and enthused they are, but Phlox and Macoy are tooootally different. I also like how similer it is to Star Trek as far as appearences go. The look of the technology seems similer to Star Trek as far as there is always something physical to touch and move around, buttons, switches, levers, that kind of thing, not just light displays on a black board like in The Next Generatin, Deep Space 9 and Voyager. Put simply, Enterprise Rules!
Rating: Summary: Best Star Trek ever Review: I always was watching Star Trek shows and movies (except Voyager because I find it boring), so far DS9 was my favorit show, but Enterprise suprised me even more. I hate the title song, this is really an ugly piece of wannabe-"music", besides its absolutely unsuitable to Star Trek and the new ("letz make a compromise but without to confess we are wrong")- version is even worse!!! OK, its only a title song and I can use the forward button to get rid of it. The show itself is really finest I ever saw from Star Trek. Dont miss it!
Rating: Summary: Enterprise Review: My wife and I absolutely love this series. The only drawback is that in our area it shows at12:05AM Sunday, so we of course have missed some of the episodes. We did start watching shortly after it originally started and would love to be able to catch up on what we have missed. As it is we have watched most of the episodes by recording them. The writing is awesome, the characters are great and the direction is A-one. Each week cannot wait for the next installment. We have been Trekies since the inception and our opinion is that this is the best yet. All factors have come together to make the most entertaining of all the series and I would say it should be rated the highest in all catagories of any of the "Star Trek" series. I also believe that a movie would be right on time based on the series, as long as it maintained the same high standards. To the writers, director, actors and producers: Awesome!!!! keep up the great work. Your avid fans Dave & Sunny
Rating: Summary: Enterprise Review: First of all, I'm not a star trek fan. The movie are bad, with no plot and bad acting. The shows are a little better, but not much. If I watched a previous Star trek show, it's because there was nothing else on. But Enterprise is diffrent. I love it! The world need an Enterprise movie, it's so good. Captain Archer and his crew are great characters, played by grat actors. The scrips are really exciting. The're fast moving and hold you to the screen. if you miss 5 minuets, you,ve missed it all. Unlike most shows, every episode is sure to be good. The storys are not about fancy technology, but about people and leadership. The special effects are great, and NX-01 is a beautiful, sleek ship. The director is a genious. His fast, moving-camera style is very unique. The only problem is this. My family doesn't have cable, so I have to watch Enterprise on a local station. It comes on at 6:00 to 7:00. Guess what my family does then? Eat dinner, and they won't hear of me skipping quality family time for some show. So I've never seen a full episode. It's not fun. I don't watch T.v. alot and it takes a really good show to get my attention. I can't wait for an Enterprise DVD. Every other show has one, right?
Rating: Summary: Archer: Gene Roddenberry's favorite Captian? Review: When I first saw the Enterprise, I was not sure whether I liked it or not. Plus, the title song surprised me. I only expected music! However, now that I have watched the first 2 seasons, I must admit, IT IS MY FAVORIT STAR TREK and the title song fits perfectly to the spirit of this Enterprise. I also believe Captain Archer truely captures what Roddenberry had in mind for the captain of the Enterprise: independent, adventurous, a peace and freedom lover and believes in equality for all. I also like the friendship and trust he shares with Trip and T'Pol and how he tries to connect with his crew. The only thing I miss so far is "beaming"!
Rating: Summary: Getting better and better.... Review: I had problems at the beginning, getting into the series but the more familiar I became with the characters, the more I loved this Trek-Adventures. And now Im addicted ;-) Great Crew and a good storyline, far better than the lame and dissapointing "Voyager" adventures, that I switched of after the second season because they didnt satisfy at all. The idea of the first steps of mankind into deep space works for me. Enterprise is charming, damn entertaining and the chemistry between the crew works great. Star Trek at its best! Lets hope the studio gives it a chance and releases this Sci-Fi-Adventure a.s.a.p, so I can watch the first episodes that I missed due to a lack of advertisment here in europe and the fact that after Voyager I was Trek-tired, and so I switched on far to late into this great Series.
Rating: Summary: We need the series on DVD Review: Okay, every darn TV series there is, almost, is on DVD now. Why not this one? Put the first two seasons out and we'll snap them up!
Rating: Summary: Back to the basics... Review: Enterprise is the best spinoff of the Star Trek franchise, in my opinion. The formula that this series uses is fantastic, a simple rule of back to the basics. Not since the original episodes of the late 1960's has a Star Trek series been so full of exploration, action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, and ground-breaking results. The cast is absolutely wonderful, each adding a deep and connected network of characterization to the smart, sleek Enterprise NX-01. The plots aren't overly-complicated with futuristic gadgets (but the beloved communicator, phaser, and transporter are all still present), but a mind-boggling array of strange aliens and new worlds are just waiting to be found and explored. I also like the fact that the politics of Starfleet don't often get in the way of the crew's actions, unlike each of the previous spinoffs. After all, the original crew hardly ever obeyed the prime directive. Why should NX-01 be any different?
Rating: Summary: Are these reviews paid placements? Review: I am a sci-fi fan, not rabid but I liked Next Generation and Farscape a lot; the other Star Treks were ok. Firefly was a good series that got cut short too soon (look up that DVD). My point is that the "jump the shark" moment for Trek was when they introduced the Seven of Nine character in "Voyager". Now Trek is a juvenile ...series with T'Pol running around ... in a blue haze, shooting at nonsensical aliens. The current "more action oriented" season is even worse. I really thought the whole point of sci-fi was a more thoughtful, creative, interesting type of entertainment. Don't buy Enterprise, watch Next Generation on SpikeTV and buy Firefly and Farscape. Or if you buy Enterprise, use it to help you fall asleep at night. ...
Rating: Summary: Enterprise On DVD Oh Yeah Review: I have been waiting ever since season one ended for them to release Enterprise on DVD. I record every episode. The picture quality of my recorded episodes are not very good. I'm hoping for great picture quality, good graphic menus, and a collectors tin case or something.
