Rating: Summary: You will believe a man can drink his weight in beer... Review: So long Joel, we hardly knew ye. Well that's not true actually, we did know you Joel, you made us laugh for many years. Joel's last episode of MST3K has it all, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you may become ill. Joe Don "ya gonna eat that? Baker is "MITCHELL" a fat drunk cop with an uncanny knack for disobeying the rules and causing trouble. A police "Drama-dy" thats so lame that even the stars(John Saxon) bail before the end. Merlin Olson gives a riveting performance as a "lousy-butler". Linda Evans(who must roll around in bed with oily Joe Don) deserves an academy award for not barfing on camera. It all wraps up in a predictable 70's style chase. Lots of loose plotlines and king size confusion for all, blend into one of the best Joel-era MST3K episodes. Buy it or we'll send Mitchell over to raid your fridge!
Rating: Summary: Joel goes out with glory!!!!! Review: This is the last Joel episode and he went out with a bang!! The movie is greatly made fun of, and the host segments are great as Gypsy tries to get Joel escape after thinking the Mads are trying to kill him, but really they're trying to kill Mike. Even though Mike is good, we will miss Joel.
Rating: Summary: Ma Ma Ma Ma Mitchell!!! Review: This is one of my favorites. Joe Don Baker is so fat and bloated. Joel and the bots rip into him and make fun of him so bad that Joe Don Baker says that if he ever meets anyone in the cast or crew of MST3K in public, he'll kick their @$$. They ended up making fun of him even worse in the recent episode Final Justuce. It's a really dull 70s cop movie with lots of action and an annoying old fashoned 50s song that goes like: Ma Ma Ma Ma Mitchell!! There's also the horrific baby oil sequince. This is Joel's final episode. He leaves the ship via an escape pod activated by Gypsy that sends him back to Earth. This is also Mike's first episode, as he is a temp auditating Deep 13. A classic.
Rating: Summary: Joe Don is the man! Review: Just when you thought MST3K couldn't pick a worse movie, here they come with Mitchell. Ah, Mitchell..the loud suits, the Schlitz beer cans, the theme song (Mi Mi Mi Mi Mitchell....) and the oily love scene with Linda Evans. This one is in a lot of Misties' top ten lists and after you watch it, you'll know why.
Rating: Summary: UNDENIABLY the best MST3K ever ! Review: This is, in my mind, the funniest episode in one of the funniest series ever. It is just so damn hilarious ! I watched it about a month ago and I still crack up when I spurt lines from it with my friends. The hilarious "chase scene" in which Mitchell follows the bad guys from about eight feet behind them will live on as one of the best bashings ever in MST3K history. The rest of the movie is side splitting as well, with great lines (you have to see the movie to get 'em) like "Okay, clothes! "," LIQUID METAL ! " , and "Mitchell, what are you doing?! " . If you want to laugh histarically, get "Mitchell" !!!!!
Rating: Summary: Joe Don Baker at his best Review: This movie is so bad, but MST makes it so worth watching. You'll notice the plot is totally brainless and unorganized, but that makes it even better for Mitchell, Mi, Mi, Mi, Mi, Mitchell. "Hey Mitchell, can I not have your autograph." "Honey, Mitchell's here." Crow and Servo at their best. It is classic. Drunk or sober, this movie is comedy at its best
Rating: Summary: Any movie with wakka-chwakka is okay by me Review: This was my first MST3K and still my favorite. My fiancee and I still make jokes about it and have converted many of our friends with this classic.
Rating: Summary: Joe Don Baker as the Wrathful Bhudda Review: ...The hilarity starts with the (strange) opening credits, featuring an ultra-slow motion Joe Don Baker (though it's hard to tell) throwing a boulder. It only gets better from here, as they boys make mincemeat out of this hapless, 70's pseudo-cop movie. Linda Evans (pre-Yanni days) co-"stars" as Joe Don's raspy-voiced squeeze. This episode is also a showcase for big-hearted Gypsy, as she saves her beloved creator Joel Robinson from certain death at the hands of the "glimmer twins," Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank. Next to the infamous "Racket Girls", this one's my fave.
Rating: Summary: MST3K can do no wrong! Review: "Mitchel" is the reason the folks at MST3K got into the buisness. If you have never seen an episode of MST3K, this is the one to start with! Joe Don Baker turns in a tour de force performance which can only be enhanced by the razor sharp whip "of the guys down front". Do yourself a favor; see this one-in-a-million and see what happens when you corner a Mitchel!
Rating: Summary: Thank goodness this movie was being picked apart by robots!! Review: I had a hard time staying awake through this one even with the great dialogue from Joel and the bots. As usual though, the MST3K crew chewed up this movie and spit it out where it should be. "Oh Hoyt, how could you?"
