Review: The best " Alien total expenditure " at the market for the twenty-year-old anniversary of the Ridley of Scott classical author published 20th-Fox a DVD box with all four Alien films, which has to offer not least some to collecting tanks. Thus the US version of THE ALIEN LEGACY contains: 20TH ANNIVERSARIY EDITION DVD not only the Special edition of James Camerons ALIENS (around 17 minutes longer than the cinema version) but also numerous Deleted scenes from Scotts original - among them the much discussed Kokon scene, in which Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) eingesponnen the kidnapped crew members in kokons regain. Well it permits a dozen " deleted scenes ", which were for the first time commercially published in the THE ALIEN LEGACY compilation, the conclusion that ALIEN owes a majority of its effect to the cut arts of Terry Rawlings and Peter Weatherley. With THE ALIEN LEGACY 20th-Fox a Must have did not only publish for collecting tanks: the DVD box is the at present best " Alien total expenditure " on the market. It contains only one Directors CUT (James Camerons ALIENS), offers however to each film background material, interview, Making OF as well as TV and Kinotrailer.

Review: Guys/Gals - Anyone with in an interest in Sci-Fi, should purchase this DVD (making sure to have a DVD Player!) as you`ll never have to miss a death again - in one of the crispest DVD pictures I have yet to see - considering that most of the films are DARK, its a good transition plus, in all the glory of WIDESCREEN.Tell ya what, they say no one will hear you scream in space, with the sound quality on this - they will all damn well hear it!!!! BUY THIS NOW! Down side : Why no RESURRECTION .....> ???

Summary: Definately a must-buy, BUT .....
Review: This package definately is a must-buy. However I do have some comments. The subtitling on these DVD's is awful, it is made for deaf people, so every sound is transcribed, and every sentence is preceded by the name of the person speaking, which is really annoying. Also I have to say that the transfer quality of Aliens is the worst of the 4 disks. It is actually quite grainy, which I think is an utter shame.

Review: Admittedly the Alien series is not for everyone. If you don't like suspense and tense situations proceed at your own risk: there are a lot of those sweaty, heart pounding, gripping the armrests of your chair scenes just before something scary happens. If you have an especially weak stomach I advise you to steer clear of these movies. Put simply: they're icky. If any of this applies to you maybe you should stick to Star Trek where the only aliens are bad actors with a little nose putty slapped on their foreheads. For the rest of you, enjoy! H.R. Giger's creations are as horrifying as ever, they've been digitally remastered to provide a much richer sound of someone being dismembered by a pitiless alien killing machine (I haven't seen the new DVD versions yet but from what I've heard the new sound and picture are unmatched in their quality.) At last the Alien Legacy has earned its place among the greats, right up there next to Star Wars. So, Alien fans everywhere: Stop whatever it is you're doing and go buy the Alien Legacy without hesitation!!!

Summary: A must for any Alien fan
Review: I already own the first 2 movies on VHS. Alien and Aliens on DVD is full of excellent features. I really enjoyed all of the interviews, commentary, deleted scenes, behind the scenes featurettes, and hundreds of photos. I'm very impressed with the way the menus were setup. The visual quality alone was worth buying this 4-pack.
