Summary: Best season of the 5 year arc
Review: This is the best season of the 5 year story arc. For the best over all sci-fi TV series ever you must have all 5 seasons and watch them from beginning to end. After watching the third year you will want to go back and watch season one and two again. Many questions will become clear and you will notice and see things you did not see before. I highly recommend this series.

Summary: Babylon 5' s Best Season
Review: I've been waiting for years for the complete season to show up on video, but I think I can wait a couple more months. I won't get into a episode list, but I think that Season 3 is the penultimate B5 season with a killer cliffhanger to boot. You want action, adventure, betrayal, rebellion, entrigue, hate, love (sort of), revelation and enlightenment in your SF TV then this is it. From beginning to end, this season of B5 really delivers the goods.

Summary: The most amazing season of the most amazing sci-fi series
Review: This season carves in stone that babylon 5 is not only the best sci-fi in history because of the emmy-winning plots that ALWAYS leave you wondering, but also that amazing special effects could indeed be done without clay models(such as star trek)and by only using computers. As it is always said by people that know sci-fi, dont ever compare Babylon 5 to star trek or any other sci-fi for that matter. Babylon 5, unlike ST, deals with a future far more believable mainly because it admits that humans have faults that a few houndred years cannot change. B5 is a series that is unbelievably beleivable, and as far as DS9 is concerned... well... tisk tisk. The third season is by far my favorite and introduce my two favorite characters Lita and Marcus. Season 3 is perhaps the most power-packed of all the series and feature tons of special effects. Hope you all enjoy it.

Review: The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace. It failed. The Centauri are now waging all out war with the Narn Regime, President Clark has begun take steps to set up a dictatorship on Earth Alliance by spreading fears of alien infiltration and disloyalty with the help of his Night Watch, and the Shadows have begun to move by forging secret alliances with the Centauri to help bring about total galactic war. Definitly where the 5 year story arc really begins to bury its teeth into you!

Summary: "Point of No Return"
Review: 4.5 stars. Wow! Oh, my Lord! Just when I thought the series couldn't possibly get any better...whoa! You want epic space battles, more political intrigue, and even more extraordinary depth of character from a stellar cast of vastly under-appreciated actors? Look no further than this series. The Shadow War is in full swing here and there is more believable politicking than was ever shown previously on this show. There is also some splendid wit and fine comic acting, particularly from Peter Jurasik and Stephen Furst. When they have scenes alone they are funny, when they have scenes together they are outright hilarious. It all makes for some excellent comic relief amid the serious tensions surrounding Babylon 5. So, why not 5 stars? Well, there is the occasional meandering side-story that takes away from the momentum of the Shadows and their diabolical schemes. One story, in particular, stands out badly. A man arrives at the station claiming to be King Arthur. King Arthur? That seems more than a stretch for side-plotting. It only lasts one episode, but it was very mediocre and I felt obliged to dock this series a full half-star in conjunction with other minor detractions. However, the final episode had me scrambling for season 4. What a cliffhanger! Season 2 had Babylon 5 running at full speed, but season 3 has the show in full flight! There is the random wind-shear that threatens to ground the series, but overall, I heartily recommend obtaining season 3 as soon as possible. Thank you.

Review: "The year of the Shadow War... Our last, best hope... for victory!"
Yes, Babylon 5 is the best sci-fi show ever produced, and season 3 and 4 are the best of the best. After a rather boring first season, J.Michael Straczynski (series creator) took the reins and wrote 100% of season 3. AND IT SHOWS. The opening title tells it all: "Babylon 5 was created to preserve the peace. It Failed." The galaxy is descending into chaos with Centauri, Narn, and Earth all warring with one another, and underneath all the action is a secretive race called "The Shadows" who are busy pulling the strings. From start-to-finish, season 3 shines with brilliance: Fantastic story, heavy drama, and great characters! (NOTE: IF YOU'RE NEW TO BABYLON 5 I recommend you start with season 2... which is where the show truly starts to shine.)

Summary: Probably the best season
Review: The third season of Babylon 5 really heats up if you've been watching the prior episodes. Unlike the other seasons, ALL of the episodes in this season are dramatic, action-packed, and suspenseful from the start to finish. I would agree with other reviews that the audio and video qualities of the actual DVD's are only "average" though (grainy video, almost monoaural sound). Babylon 5 is clearly one of the better story-driven science fiction television shows in existence, and this season really hits the mark. For Babylon 5 fans, season 3 is one not to be missed.
