Summary: Incongruous Story Line
Review: If the creators had spent as much time on the story line as they did on special effects this might have been a pretty good SciFi flick. The characters are capable of morphing into "virtual reality beings" to survive various assaults but, for some curious reason, they fail to use that "power" to their best advantage. I'd rate the computer generated special effects, while not entirely flawless, as a seven out of ten. But the rest of the work appears fairly conventional with no real surprises for the viewer - more like a video game than a feature film piece.

Summary: if the movie is excellent, just guess how good the special..
Review: If the movie is excellent, just guess how good the special will be, look at it in perspective, The Matrix on VHS was great in itself. Now add tons and tons of extras and you get the limited edition PLATINUM version. Now, I have the The Matrix on VHS and the tape is starting to wear out because of the obsessive viewing! Now i will try not to scratch this beauty up, OK!

BUY IT BUY IT!

A Sci-Fi Fantasy, Action film that features several real-to-life points, The Matrix is THE Best Film Of 1999! Forget The Phantom Menace, Goodbye American Beauty! If there was any justice in the world The Matrix should have won Best Picture of 1999!

Try the "white rabbit" version. Then listen to the music / composer version. Then hear the cast commentary. Then hear the directors' comentary. No matter what you thought of this movie in the theater, it ROCKS as a DVD.

Summary: Movie Rocks, set sucks
Review: If this was only for the DVD, i would give it 6 stars, that's how much i like this movie, but the set is not worth it. why would you use half of these things, all you need is the DVD, not lobbycards, or a special case!

Summary: Wow
Review: If u have ever wondered about the supernaturalm why deja-vu occurs, this is the movie for u. The full power of sci-fi action and a great plot unfold in this superb gun, and martial arts action movie. U will stop and think about the world around u after watching this smash hit. Are we in a dreamworld, are we all slaves to our minds? Questions only the cast of The Matrix and the superb crew could answer.

Summary: Puerile
Review: If you are 12 years old or below in intellectual age then this film will be your cup of tea. It had all of the makings of the "New Hollywood" classic:

slow motion explosions; Kung-Fu kicking galore; small arms fire aplenty; idiotic, trite dialog; politically correct of course ; much noise but little thought;

Better yet, get the comic book.
