Summary: The Best Movie--Television Show Ever!
Review: "The X-Files" was an excellent, excellent movie! There was a slight letdown, at some points, but nothing is wrong with it. Nothing has been wrong with it. This is absolutely best movie! It was not a cheesy adaptation of a television show! It is the BEST show on television, I don't care what anyone says! X-Files rocks the world! All of you will bow down and worship David Duchovny, and Gillian Anderson! They are Mulder and Scully, my saviors, my gods, my world!

Summary: Fan or not, this film was a lot of fun!
Review: My favorite part of this film, I must admit, was when one of the members of the Old-White-Guy-Conspiracy-Consortium said, and I quote, "We must take away that one thing with which he cannot live without." This, and other puzzlers, such as why the FBI chose to "place blame" for the explosion in the first scene on the people who actually found the bomb and evacuated the building before it went off, are half the fun of this film.

Although I'm an X-Phile, what was great about this movie is that one didn't really have to be in order to enjoy it. It was visually spectacular, the acting was great, the script had just the right mixture of adventure and comic relief, and it was a jolly good ride.

Whether one is a loyal fan or has never seen the show, Fight the Future is a heck of a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it.

Summary: Now you know the truth (but is it really the truth ?)
Review: So... I think this movie is nearly perfect ! Actors, scenario, realisation are really great. Some blanks into the conspiracy are now filled but I'm really waiting the last two season. The DVD is pretty good, full of extra-stuffs ! BUY IT NOW AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONSPIRACY (Where's the Zone 51 ????) !!!

Summary: Totally stupid ending destroyed the movie
Review: Most of the movie was ok. BUT, the ending was so bad that it destroyed the rest. I don't want to give away anything, so the only thing I can say is that what happened at the end was impossible: not from a science or science-fiction point of view. Merely from a human survival point of view. It's like the director/writer just waved their hands in the air and said "and then a miracle occurs."

Summary: Best Movie Ever Created
Review: X-Files Fight The Future is the best movie ever created. Fan or not a fan of the tv show, this is a have-to-see movie. It is cool, because it's a movie all people can enjoy. It is funny in some parts, romantic, exciting, I even got a little worried at some parts. It is just the best movie ever made, and if you havent seen it, you'd better because I dont know how anyone can live without seeing this movie. It rocked! It all started when a bomb threat was called into Dallas, Texas and Scully and Mulder were sent to investigate. Well, they found the bomb, but couldnt defuse it, and it went off. 3 bodie were found, and Scully and Mulder were blamed for it. So they went to find the "truth", and that lead to mysteries, love, excitment, and action. I suggest if you havent seen thsi movie. Do so immediately, you dont know what your missing.

Summary: IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A TWO-PARTER STORY.
Review: I was dying to see this movie in the cinema, but I was too young so I had to wait for the video. And it wasn't really worth the wait. Altough it was very good, come on, it is the first X-Files movie, it should have been better. It would have been an excellant story for a two-parter though. It might be the fact that I saw it on a 25" that I think this.

Summary: The thrill is gone
Review: Essential to be able to follow the development of the series from it's six year on to the end three seasons later, but do not expect the same thrill usually found in regular episodes. TV and cinema are two very different media, with the first being able to delve deeper into character development while the latter is obliged to take the viewer on a self-contained senses-overload that has to be started and finished in some 90-120 minutes, with nuance and exploration being sacrificed. At the time the creator of the series stated that first time watchers should enjoy it as much as devoted X-Philes, and believe me, it shows.

Summary: The movie was in one word spectacular!
Review: If you have never seen x-files before, this movie will get you hooked. It's twists and turns leave you wondering. The plot and special effects are breath taking. I never used to watch the show and used to complain when it came on. But the movie Fight the Future got me hooked. Now I'm glued to the tv whenever it comes on. This movie is not just for those people who believe in UFO's. It is for everybody who loves action, adventure, romance, mystery, and the unexplained. You're sure to love this movie the first time!

Summary: Great features make a great movie even better!
Review: The DVD release of this movie is just terrific. I loved the movie before I got the DVD, but now that I have it, I love all the extras! The commentary by the producer and director (Carter and Bowman) is fun and interesting, and the scene selection is also a great feature, as well as the others.

Summary: Been a while.....still watching!
Review: Yes, I confess it. I am a devout X-Files fan. What I appreciate about this movie is the fact that I was unable to find what genre it was listed under!

The X-Files has consistantly been a show of high caliber, and it fits all genres if you think about it. It's a suspense, drama, mystery, scfi, and romance just to name a few! There's something for everbody.

I bought this movie almost a year ago, and I still watch it whenever I feel down, and it's like I'm watching it for the first time. the dialogue is so crip between Mulder and Scully, and the special effects SHOULD HAVE been nominated for SOMETHING!

Thank you Fight the Future for totally getting me hooked on The X-Files. You made me watch the TV show, and learn to love something off the wall!
