Summary: funny but fun
Review: Okay some of it is corny, but this is better than those annoying gamera flicks. most of it is stock footage from past godzilla movies with the exception of godzilla and son taking on what looks like a reptilian version of king kong called gabra. Corny in a good way. liked it better when i was younger though. this would be funny if it appeared on mst 3000!!

Review: People need to lighten up on this flick. I liked it. It's a message flick about work-aholic parents, bullies and childhood sweethearts. It's a better "Home Alone" movie than "Home Alone"

Summary: Too much for the Kids.
Review: Stock Footage and being way too silly really limits this entry in the Godzilla film series when a young boy day dreams a trip to Monster island to meet the other monsters there and Godzilla, then wakes up and realizes that his own private world is more interesting then the every day world he lives in, that is until his mom and dad come home from work at night. Directed by Ishrio Honda on a limited budget. Not the best Gddzilla film ever made however.

Review: Summary: Godzilla and Son help show a little kid how to stand up for himself.Certainly the most different of all Godzilla's films. Although this one is directly aimed at audience members around the age of 5, it is not all bad. The immortal "King Kong vs. Godzilla" is much worse. Next is "Godzilla Vs. the Smog Monster".

Summary: A "great" film
Review: Talk about a pointless film. Godzilla's Revenge may very well be one of the worst Godzilla movies ever made, if not the most pointless. When a sad little boy dreams about a trip to Monster Island, he imagines himself befriending Godillza Jr., who looks and sounds more like Don Knots in a Barney suit than Godzilla. If it were not for that, this reeking pile of stock footage would be indesernable from other Godzilla movies.

Summary: Godzilla goes to kiddie land.
Review: This film marks a period of sharp decline in the G series. Stock footage is used extensively and does not mesh well with the new spfx scenes. Minya looks as awful as ever and the new monster Gabera is one silly creation. The score plays pretty harshly on the ears(calling Akira Ifukube!) as well. That said, the story works pretty well for children. There is much that they can find to enjoy in this film whereas, most adults and older G fans will be left cold by it.

Review: This Godzilla movie is very different from past ones. Godzilla and company are all living on Monster Island instead of stomping around Japan. But what happens when a little boy shows up on the island? Watch and find out.

Review: This has got to be one of thee most subversive Godzilla films of all time. Inoshira Honda has taken the Ed Wood style and made it even more strange. Stock footage - yes, but also a new monster for all the fans. Only "wanna be" Godzilla fans are too wimpy for this mother...... And a funky soundtrack too.

Summary: It's Not as Bad as Others Say it is.
Review: This is a great movie if you have a young Godzilla fan, or just a collector! (like me) This movie does contain stock footage from other Godzilla movies, but hey! Which one doesn't! Godzila vs. Monster Zero contained stock footage from the movie Rodan! If you are one of those people who hate (semi) kiddie stuff, then I recommend you wouldn't buy it, but if you really want to see it, (like I did), buy it! And don't worry, it's not as bad as everyone else says it is. It's a great movie! Don't get too embarrassed when you see Minya talk to the main character. Hope you enjoy it!

Summary: Monster Mayhem Strictly for Patient Kiddies.
Review: This movie gives sober men pause. When one embarks upon the path of schlock cinema, one naturally expects egregious movies. Nevertheless, this one is a real stinker. Look around you, and behold the bottom of the Godzilla barrel. Godzilla has a son named Minilla (according to the DVD case). Think Mini-Me. There is no explanation of Minilla's origin. Frankly, the thought of Godzilla and a she-monster procreating is too astonishing to even contemplate. A Japanese tyke named Ichiro fantasizes about Monster Island where Godzilla lives and fights. Ichiro wishes he could fight to rid himself of a bully and a pair of bungling bank robbers. In several dream sequences, Minilla (pronounced "Min-YA") gives Ichiro advice on dealing with tough guys. Although some of the things that make Japanese sci-fi so much fun are present, this film lacks the usual thrills of a building crumbling attack on Nippon. People of the 21st century, observe the heat ray doughnuts that Minilla spits, and stand in awed silence. One wishes that the filmmaker had alerted the first-time viewer that this movie is intended (for a change) for kiddies. Of course, it can be argued that all Godzilla flicks are of interest only to the very young, but there is no time for that debate. It's fair to say that this little sci-fi flick is okay for patient kids of pre-school age. Others should duck and run. Drawing the line between so-dumb-it's-funny and just plain silly is an inexact science. The technical quality of the DVD edition, including the audio, is clean and clear. Wide-screen fans beware the full screen format. ;-)
