Summary: The worst movie I have ever seen
Review: Why can't I give it negative stars? Whew! I had heard this was a bad movie but I coudn't think it could be as bad as everyone said. Lord in heaven I WAS WRONG!!!!!! Ask my friends, I've thought some pretty crummy movies were good, I let things slide a lot, but this was painful it was so bad. I actually got a headache after the 57th cliche, and we weren't even half done. Not one original line, shot, idea, characterization in the entire film. I was waiting for Willis' head to appear over the wedding scene nodding in approval. I literally felt queasy after this bomb. The sad thing? Some people actually liked it!!! Some people actually CRIED!!!!! 200 million dollars this toxic pile grossed. We the viewing public must truly be cattle, and I am sad to be a part of such a dumb animal.

Summary: This was very interesting. I like Science Fiction Movies.
Review: I loved this movie. Bruce Willis was phsked because his daughter was getting married. So they go into space and fix a boulder that was going to hit earth and Bruce dies.

Summary: Bad story, too american
Review: They couldn't get a whole out of that one, really. This is american-stressed and the story is like that... However, there are great special effects. That's all I was enchanted with.

Summary: Stupid movie for stupid people...
Review: See above, that's all there is to say about this movie. If you are a stupid person you'll like this stupid film, if you're not, however, you will realize just how stupid it is.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loads of Fun!
Review: This movie is pure entertainment from start to finish. The action keeps comming with special effects and sound worthy of 5 stars. You won't be sorry.

Summary: Who cut the cheese?!
Review: This movie stunk worse than any movie I've seen. From the story to the acting this movie was incredibly cheesy. I think the move directers were a sleep during the making of this flim. The only thing good in the movie are the effects.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Deserves more credit than it gets.
Review: Armageddon is one of the few Bruce Willis action movies to actually be good. After the third Die Hard Willis has really needed a good movie and this was it. The acting from Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler left something to be desired, but other than that, it was a great movie.

Summary: Effects and humour are all you'll get
Review: If you want a more realistic disaster movie try Deep Impact.

Although I enjoy witnessing major cities being destroyed I wonder how, out of all the places on this planet, why New York seems to get it all?!

Tiny little meteors falling to earth could land absolutely anywhere, most likely unpopulated areas, but oh no, they home in on the US eastern seaboard of all places. Okay, to be fair, we did see a fairly exciting impact in Paris and some other country which has slipped my mind. But I think these scenes were too quick and placed too far apart to keep me interested.

I watched this movie because I wanted to see how up-to-date special effects could show us what asteroid impacts would look like if they hit populated areas - but this wasn't focused on enough and so I enjoyed the film less.

Armageddon was never going to be one of the best movies of all time, so then it should have attempted to be best at what it really was - a disaster movie.

Summary: It's from Hollywood!
Review: To those who seem to expect realism, factuality, and political correctness (not that pc is realistic) to always come out of Hollywood, what are you thinking?

While the movie has plot flaws and is wholly predictable, it contains one thing critics most often snub their noses at today: optimism, and a happy ending. The tone of the film, as well as the christological subplot (a popular plot which can be found in the Matrix also) was refreshing in light of the many morose, dark, and otherwise nauseating movies of 1998.

It loses a star for its overtly simple story flow.
