Summary: Worst sci-fi film of 1998
Review: Lost In Space is probably one of the worst science fiction films of all time. It's a film that has absolutely no direction. Instead exploring more the director and screenplay writer decide to see how many loud sounds they can make. I still don't see how this movie got a PG-13 rating. It has even less action and violence than Star Wars. The performances by everybody except, surprisingly, Matt Leblanc, were terrible. Heather Graham and Mimi Rogers, who are very good-looking, deserve better material, but they could have tried harder.

Review: Based on the tv show Lost in Space is back. The people on the spaceship are lost in space because mean Mr.Smith. During the begining of the movie the spaceship goes through the sun. I thought this part was amazing. This movie is a great movie but some parts were boring.

Summary: Spectacular Fun!!!
Review: First, let me say that its good to see an update to the old show. Second, this is really a fun movie, its not a deep movie - it will not change your life, or cause you to have a religious experience. That said, it has quite a few things going for it.Third, Gary Oldman is excellent as the incomparably naughty Dr. Smith. He lights up every scene he is in - and "steals" every scene also. His condescending tone to everyone, particularly Matt LeBlanc's Major West is chillingly delicious. Fourth, the rest of the cast is very good, especially Mimi Rogers as Mrs. Robinson and William Hurt as Dr. Robinson. Fifth, the story is kind of goofy - actually only the last quarter of the movie - the first three-quarters is nicely done. Sixth, the sets are very beautiful. I particularly like the design, both interior and exterior of the ship. That ovoid theme is very distinct. Seventh, the special effects are the best I have seen in a while; we have Angus Bickerton and Lauren Richie and their crew to thank for this bounty. Every effect appears perfect - and there are a lot of effects! I am guessing, but I think the effects were done with Silicon Graphics Inc rendering software and hardware. If true, then more movies should be done with them. Eighth, the DVD image is pristine, and we require it so with so many top-flight special effects. Ninth, the Dolby Digital sound is every bit as pristine as the image. NOTE: this is a DVD disc to use to evaluate equipment by, and show off your equipment with.

Review: If you value your money don't rent or buy this movie. It thought the special effects were pretty lame and the actoring was pathetic. If you do want to see a good Sci-fi Space movie the get "Event Horizon", but otherwise stay clear of this one.

Review: An excellent Science Fiction film. Better than the original TV Show. Waiting for the sequel...hopefully the awesome robot will have a greater part. Also the price of this video sold here is excellent. Much cheaper than the video shops.- John Anthony Miller

Review: Looking for a video with real action and fun? Here's the one for you. A movie based on the clasical series, "Lost in Space" made in black and white. Follows the old episods perfectly, even better, and has a family-based plot that shows a family situation, too. At the end, there's a tuching scene of sadness and thrill, and leaves you hanging at the end. I suggest you see it!
